Look up "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living" by Damien Hirst. It is a well-known artwork that looks similar to this. But uses a real dead shark preserved in formaldehyde.

I love the skill used in only partially sculpting the pumpkin before baking so it wouldn't deform due to it being mostly hollow.
Was that a logic call or was there an oopsie pumpkin before the successful one?

I wonder, if this clay is put in the oven before painting, or does it dry enough to be painted like so? I could imagine it's not, because if it's covered by resin, it wouldn't matter?
Also what would be nice for underwater dioramas, I think, is trying to have a cylinder shaped form instead to avoid those corners... In any case, very nice work!

My goodness this is so cool. I was curious about your use of the clesr cylinders for propping up your models. I see a lot of people use string to hold them while they pour resin, but do you find that doesnt work as well? Just curious, another stellar video from you. I always look forward to more of your stuff
