    So funny that I also have a Club Cadet mower and the Agri-Fab sweeper. Both are great. 👍

    I bought the next smaller size on sale for $199. It picks up pine cones and ginko fruit. I have to set it very low but it picks up small sticks as well. It's not perfect but if I keep at it the yard will be perfectly clean.
    Well worth the effort.

    Great video and tip on how to use a blower to speed things up with the sweeper! I had to buy one of these after watching this. My maples have huge leaves, I hope it works well for me when they start to cover my lawn again! Take care

    Good review .
    Considering they want over $2000 for the bagger attachment for my zero turn... this is a much more palatable option .
    Especially considering I only need it for spring/ fall leaf 🍂 cleanup.

      Sometimes if it's a bit rainy beforehand, I'll mow the leaves a couple days before and then sweep up the shredded leaves. Makes it a bit easier to collect and burn.

    Man thanks for this video because like you all I could find for videos were pretty generic. I just bought the 44in after the video. I got an acre and think I’ll like to use it offset when mowing and picking up fall leaves. Thanks

    If your mower picks up quite a bit of dirt is this a good sweeper ?

    Reinforce the bottom front of the sweeper. The front edge dents easily. I put a half inch steel bar ther across the front, protecting the edge. Works great on grass but not on sticks and leaves.

      From an outsider, I think the instructions looked like a headache. But now that I’ve gone through setup once, they are all “big pieces” that just need cotter pins on each end of the metal part. It’s really not that bad and DEFINITELY worth setting up yourself over paying all that extra money. Cheers to whichever you choose!

    I must be doing something wrong to 'dump' the leaves out when the bag is full.
    When I pull the lever, all the leaves "stay put" and dump out over the top of the Orange Sweeper part. Nothing falls out the bottom.
    Maybe I'm letting the bag get too full? Maybe I need to really shake hard like you are? Any tips? Have you run into this? Great video!

    • @BuffaloBeerReviews
      @BuffaloBeerReviews  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks. I have had this happen too, I thinks it's bound to happen when it gets really full. I usually open slowly and allow a little extra time for the leaves to drop, as well as shaking the handle. Also, sort of moving the tractor forward when the bag is all the way at the top allows for more room too.

    • @jimperris1617
      @jimperris1617 3 роки тому +2

      They updated the design recently, making dumping more difficult. If you look at where the bag pivots, the new design has the pivot much closer to the sweeper, so it doesn't open as wide. The black steel channel pieces are about half the length. It's total garbage now. I just wrote Agri-Fab customer service to see if they can get me the parts to retrofit mine.

    • @MatthewRoger
      @MatthewRoger 3 роки тому +1

      @@jimperris1617 Please keep me posted on their reply! I'm frustrated being outside the return window, and every Amazon review I search for the word "dump" mentions you can't let the bag get more than 1/4 full. But, like you said, every UA-cam video I watch dumps with ease, but they're all older videos.

    I bag my leaves and grass every fall and take them out to my friends buffalo ranch and we put them back on the land and he plows them in as compost and put in hay and subsequently bales it and feeds it to his buffalo. Then I get them odd buffalo burger out of the deal. Win...win..

      If green they can wrap around the brush. Run the brushes about 3/4" off the ground. Has to be pretty flat.

      There really is way too much volume to mulch effectively. I do little bits of mulching when there aren’t lots of leaves, but that doesn’t happen too often.

      Yes. It does it but not perfectly.
      If you hear it making lots of noise that's sticks and nuts, acorns etc.
      It's abuse to set the brushes low enough to pick up acorns but it is possible to do.
      Mine picks up ginko fruiis/nuts.
      They're nasty and smell like poop so we sweep them up..

    Leaves leaves leaves….watched 6 videos on this machine. Nobody answers how it works on grass clipping while you mow. This machine advertises that it works for grass clipping while you mow because it has an off set feature

    • @BuffaloBeerReviews
      @BuffaloBeerReviews  2 роки тому

      I typically will use this for grass clippings early in the season since my yard is sorta wet and the grass is a bit longer by the time I get to mowing it. I think grass just isn’t as “sexy” seeing it go into the sweeper lol. I sweep up after mowing since I have a lot of trees to mow around and the tractor doesn’t zero well with the sweeper in tow. It works just fine on grass though. Very simple machine. Love it.

    2 hours to put together! I guess I need words to go along with the pictures, the bar that holds the bagger was backwards and the first time I tried to empty the leaves it bent the bar. I got the 42” one and it puts together differently

    • @BuffaloBeerReviews
      @BuffaloBeerReviews  3 роки тому

      I agree. I don't think the little pictures and stuff are for me. But, it's worth the experience so that you have an idea about how to put it back together if you disassemble it for the winter.
