There's people saying this is a "rip-off" of Taiki Nulight's remix to Hamdi's song "Counting," and while both songs sound similar in some small aspects, this song really isn't a copy. Half of the EDM space takes inspiration from one another, and that's what makes it so great. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. And even if it wasn't Combine and WAVHART's intention of taking influence from Taiki, bro it's just a song at the end of the day. Big ups to UKF, Combine, and WAVHART.

The whole point of being a producer is to make the genre of music your making sound like your own, otherwise it is just copying and copying is majorly frowned upon in all aspects of music no matter how good you are or where the inspiration comes from.... this is why modern music is dying and people want the old skool back....

@@SmokeyMiller I agree with that innovation is one of the key pillars of EDM, but if you think about it, a lot of modern day artists took inspiration when Skrillex released his shit, and people might say they copied, but they like you said tried making their own style. I get that copying a song verbatim is pretty shitty, but it's never too wrong to take influence. And we don't know if it was Combine and WAVHART's intention to take some ideas from Hamdi. Maybe this song was an original thought, idk? Also I'd happen to adore the old-school sound as well. Nice to see we agree on that.
