I think we should all go closer to God by studying his word and meditating daily on the word of God, we as Christians are to follow Christ not the men of God. We are all running our race to heaven, just like each and everyone one of them. Every man and woman will answer for him or herself on the day of judgement. Dr. Abel Damina said he gave an example of Dr. Paul Enenche beginnings in ministry at a Minister’s conference. People began to ask him questions as a result. It’s all in a bid to answer these questions that it snowballed into a controversy. That Dr. Paul Enenche has not categorically denied or confirmed Dr. Damian’s alleged links with him has fed the controversy. Going forward, Dr. Damina may now be very circumspect in the examples he gives at such meetings. This whole saga may have taught him how to handle such issues of giving examples.
Let's also get the understanding that the things that preachers preach to their congregations is not heard by their congregations alone. The impact of technology sends out the message way beyond the location where it was preached. It becomes necessary therefore if error is being taught that Christians point out these errors so that we are not carried away by every wind of doctrine. Secondly the congregations everywhere and anywhere in christendom belong to Christ. If that is understood we cannot say it is so and so's church so whatever he is teaching the souls there is his business and then look away. If those souls are misled and misguided by the erroneous teaching of their leaders and we have heard it and turned away for the sake of self preservation, take note that we are equally as accountable as the leader of that fellowship. The Lord would hold us accountable. We would have no excuse before Him. Those souls also would spread those errors to their families and friends. Truly our job is to focus on the gospel of Christ. However is it not our job also to warn from the scriptures about anything that looks like the gospel but is really not? Is that not the basis on which the apostles Peter, John and Paul warned us about the same things happening in their day and is continuing to happen now? Jesus took on and condemned the actions of the religious order of his day and they hated him and plotted against him. Are we to do anything less? The heart really aches to know that the world we are supposed to reach for Christ has come to the conclusion that the church is only out here for money and nothing more.

No host, you are wrong. Proverbs 27:5 settles it. It says open rebuke is better than secret love. He cannot focus on his congregation he has to do it exactly how he is doing it. I have a slight disagreement sir, every soul belongs to Jesus. Anyone with an understanding about who they are in Christ will be burdened when the word of God is misreprented to people who Christ died to save. The church as you know is also universal. It is not confined just to your little congregation . We must remember always that for anyone who dies without being saved and without the knowledge of the truth, it is the end of the road for that individual. Let no one imagine that the church belongs to them and claim that these are my people. Let none imagine also that there is more time we can relax now cos there is 2000 more years until the Lord returns. We have not been promised that luxury of time. When God enlightens us our responsibility goes beyond the confines of the congregation over which we preside. Besides, the things Dr. Damina preaches is most often within his congregation but they are recorded and put out in the media space just like everyone does. So the responsibility is first to my immediate congregation and Secondly to as many that shall hear.

I respectfully disagree with your perspective. Every pastor or priest has a responsibility to correct the errors being taught by others who claim to be men of God. This also extends to pastors or preachers who fail to condemn wrongdoing by politicians. It is part of their role to speak out against such actions. While they should not attack the person of the preacher, it is their duty to address and correct one another's faulty teachings.

I totally disagree with you that Pastor Damina should mind his business, and stop criticizing materialistic prosperous pastors. First, you ended this video by telling about the backlash you got by frowning at a pastor who was progressing in error. I think that the sacred duty of every pastor or anyone that has a popular voice is to call out and speak truth to power: spiritual, economic and political powers. I ain’t sure you are on good ground on your disagreement with Dr. Abel Damina. Why? Please go to the beginning of this discourse/controversy. Dr. Abel Damina said he gave an example of Dr. Paul Enenche beginnings in ministry at a Minister’s conference. People began to ask him questions as a result. It’s all in a bid to answer these questions that it snowballed into a controversy. That Dr. Paul Enenche has not categorically denied or confirmed Dr. Damian’s alleged links with him has fed the controversy.
Going forward, Dr. Damina may now be very circumspect in the examples he gives at such meetings. This whole saga may have taught him how to handle such issues of giving examples.
Let's also get the understanding that the things that preachers preach to their congregations is not heard by their congregations alone. The impact of technology sends out the message way beyond the location where it was preached. It becomes necessary therefore if error is being taught that Christians point out these errors so that we are not carried away by every wind of doctrine.
Secondly the congregations everywhere and anywhere in christendom belong to Christ. If that is understood we cannot say it is so and so's church so whatever he is teaching the souls there is his business and then look away. If those souls are misled and misguided by the erroneous teaching of their leaders and we have heard it and turned away for the sake of self preservation, take note that we are equally as accountable as the leader of that fellowship. The Lord would hold us accountable. We would have no excuse before Him. Those souls also would spread those errors to their families and friends. Truly our job is to focus on the gospel of Christ. However is it not our job also to warn from the scriptures about anything that looks like the gospel but is really not? Is that not the basis on which the apostles Peter, John and Paul warned us about the same things happening in their day and is continuing to happen now? Jesus took on and condemned the actions of the religious order of his day and they hated him and plotted against him. Are we to do anything less? The heart really aches to know that the world we are supposed to reach for Christ has come to the conclusion that the church is only out here for money and nothing more.

No host, you are wrong. Proverbs 27:5 settles it. It says open rebuke is better than secret love. He cannot focus on his congregation he has to do it exactly how he is doing it. It is his business to make corrections because many people will be misled and may go to hell. The way he is responding creates awareness of his message. Nigerians need his message. The problem in our day is balance....These preachers are not conscious of balance in what they preach and what they do, normally Abel Damina also like those he criticize lacks balance in many of his preaching but for this video I see truth and clarity of the gospel he is preaching I wished he will used the same energy to examine other topics with an open heart to understand and share it with God's people than answering other preachers..His counterpart to lack balance in their message, talking about their success and talking more on prospering than being a real source of blessing to their followers especially in deed..if only we will learn to pick from others learn and improve ourselves for the purpose of balance

I have a slight disagreement sir, every soul belongs to Jesus. Anyone with an understanding about who they are in Christ will be burdened when the word of God is misreprented to people who Christ died to save. The church as you know is also universal. It is not confined just to your little congregation . We must remember always that for anyone who dies without being saved and without the knowledge of the truth, it is the end of the road for that individual. Let no one imagine that the church belongs to them and claim that these are my people. Let none imagine also that there is more time we can relax now cos there is 2000 more years until the Lord returns. We have not been promised that luxury of time. When God enlightens us our responsibility goes beyond the confines of the congregation over which we preside. Besides, the things Dr. Damina preaches is most often within his congregation but they are recorded and put out in the media space just like everyone does. So the responsibility is first to my immediate congregation and Secondly to as many that shall hear.

* Paul says in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 == "For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges..."

- Jesus Himself judged those on the inside: Matthew 23:1-36 (plus countless other passages).
- Paul apostle also judged even Peter in Galatians 2:11-17, regarding hypocrisy.
- In 1 Corinthians 5:1-8, Paul encourages judgement for one who was sexually immoral in the church at Corinth.. in fact, in verse 3, he even outright uses the word "judge", saying he had "already judged him who has so done this deed".
- 1 Peter 4:17 even tells us that judgment begins at the house of God.
And when Jesus was chasing those money-loving Jews from the synagogue, who were doing business in the name of God, what do you think He was doing? That's technically judgment!

I respectfully disagree with your perspective. Every pastor or priest has a responsibility to correct the errors being taught by others who claim to be men of God.
This also extends to pastors or preachers who fail to condemn wrongdoing by politicians. It is part of their role to speak out against such actions.
While they should not attack the person of the preacher, it is their duty to address and correct one another's faulty teachings.
