This is such awesome confirmation, my daily scripture today is Galatians 5:16 ‘I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.’ and this has been the message in this season, thank you so much, God bless.
The secret to walking in the Spirit: "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." John 15:4 KJV "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 15:10 KJV "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:3 KJV Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. Isn't that as beautiful as the soft fragrance and feel of silky rose petals on your lips? 🥀🩵
Walking in the Spirit is a supernatural work from God that happens when a believer makes a conscious choice to give control to the Holy Spirit and forsake their sins. When a believer asks God to allow them to walk in the Spirit out of the desire to follow Him fully and do good while forsaking their own desire to sin, they allow the Spirit full control of their hearts and desires. When this happens, one is not victim to the desires of their flesh and the Holy Spirit supernaturally rids them of these desires and causes them to be holy. Only a return in mind or deed to those sins can break this power. Paul describes not walking in the Spirit when he says he knows what not to do but does it anyway. He then goes on to explain that when he walks in the Spirit, these desires are put away and control goes to the Spirit in a supernatural act. “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” - Galatians 5:16 “Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.” - Romans 8:5
The secret: Grace. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9 1 Corinthians 15:10 (KJV) But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord ^^ The Gospel is the Jesus Christ in me who came as a mediator of new covenant and fulfilled a second covenant made with Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Believe the Gospel to be saved.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Acts Chapter 2 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
"Romans 8:2-5 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit." Set your mind on the things of the Spirit. I believe there's "something to do" here. What do you consume, read, watch, listen to?
This is an easy answer. You must solely rely upon the Holy Spirit. My question to you all is, are you trusting in you disciplining yourself by doing bible reading, prayer, fasting, etc? If you are then you have forsaken the grace you once knew and have turned to the law as a means of obeying God. That’s what the Galatians did, they left grace and began to rely on their works for sanctification and holiness. This is utter foolishness. If you try to walk in the Spirit through your own works you will fail and live a defeated Christian life. Stop that! Instead of trying to work on your sanctification on your own, rely on the Holy Spirit. For apart from Christ, you can do nothing. I had to come to this realization a few days ago. I had committed spiritual adultery by going back to the law. Friends, repent of going back to the law. Reckon yourselves dead to sin. Believe this truth, if you are a Christian. If you are dead to sin, then the law has no reason to hold you captive to it. Your sins are crucified with Christ, you need to accept that and put all of your faith and trust into the Holy Spirit. When temptation arises, flee to the Holy Spirit and He will help you. Don’t fight sin on your own, you’ll lose and be stuck in the misery of repeating and repenting of the same sin over and over again. If you’re a Christian, you are free. Believe that and live in that with the Holy Spirit’s help. He will cause you to practice spiritual disciplines and cause you to grow in holiness. He will bear His fruits if you just rely on Him and not yourselves. Look up freedominthecrossministries here on UA-cam for more information.

Such joy in this nature though. when i walk in the nature he gave me, it is fantastic but i tell ya this, PRIDE and astonishment can enter the mind of this success and i've found that sin can ease its way in and derail you if your not careful so if your walking in the spirit its best to not Lord over that state of excellence with a nature of pride in doing it. Walk in the spirit and full humble carefulness because our flesh is evil and it loves to take advantage of every little sin that can be exploded out and ruin your progress even if its a sin of pride from the happiness of walking in the spirit. I guess best way to say it is, when you walk in the spirit, put out of your mind the idea that your collecting any kind of "bonus points" with God. Just walk. Just believe, just read, just love, just except the failures and get off your "ass" and keep going. I've fallen and been so discouraged before. It depends on the sin you suffer. Perpetual success in the spirit i think is something you don't think abou tthen look back and go "hmm, oh, yeah, that happened. things are different..." and its either us looking back or someone telling us "dude, you are different. what happened to you?" and the best one i've seen from one friend is my best friend and he was INFURIATED with me "dude, wth is wrong with you? why do you act like this now? its annoying." 1) Galatians 5 talks about Gentile believers who abandoned the work of the Holy Spirit and pursued the Torah/ Law for righteousness. Thus those who abandoned the work of the Holy Spirit are under the Law and they walk in the flesh with sinful fkesh desires that Paul warned them TWICE that they will not inherit God’s kingdom (v21). 2) Contrast Galatians to Colossians who “love the Holy Spirit” (Colossians 1:8) and commended by Paul (Colossians 1:1-29). These were gentile believers who loved God, trusted the Messiah and had love for fellow holy ones. In Colossians 2:16, Paul exhorted them by saying to them to not let anyone judge them for food, drinks, feasts, New Moon, Sabbath as they are a shadow of things to come , the relity is in Jesus. Paul encouraged them as they were being ridiculed to keep the practice because Jesus Himself is the reality of them and a future revelation to behold. Zechariah 14 reveals that when Jesus returns to destroy His enemies in Jerusalem, after that destruction Feast of Sukkot/Tabernacles is expected and those that do not practice will not receive rain as blessing for their country or nation. Isaiah 66:23 says that on the New heavens and earth, New Moon and Sabbaths are going to be observed. 3) The Jews who do not believe in Jesus and thus who do not have the Holy Spirit, who rely on the Law of Moses, are the ones under the Law. The Jews who believe in Jesus and if the Holy Spirit dwells in them and who oractice obedience to the Laws of Moses are the ones not under the Law. The Gentiles who do not have the Law of Moses but do by nature what is lawful and who do not believe in Jesus is the one under the Law. The Gentiles who believe in Jesus, and if the Holy Spirit dwells in them, and who observe the Laws of Moses are not under the Law. 4) Acts 15:20-21 says that the turning Gentile toward God is required to observe the 4 Laws of Moses as a beginning of their knowledge as the rest of Moses will be read in the synagogues every Sabbath. 5) Hebrews 10:26-27 says “for if we keep on sinning willfuly after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but only a terrifying expectation of judgement and a fury of fire about to devour the enemies of God.” 6) Matthew 5:20 Jesus says “For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees and Law scholars, you shall never enter the kingdom of God.” 7) Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven , but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your Name, and drive out demons in Your Name, and perform many miracles in Your Name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you workers of lawlessness (sinners)”. 8) In Revelation chapters 2 and 3, Jesus warned the 5 of the 7 churches that if they do not repent from sexual immorality, from foods sacrificed to idols, tolerate Jezebel, abandon their first love, who thinks of himself rich and does not need of anything, holds to the teaching of Balaam, holds to teachings of Nicolaitians (ie Calvinism, paeudocalvinism, catholicism, mormonism, orthodox christianity, evangelicalism, reformed theology, watch tower and all man made teachings), have a reputation of being alive but are dead, and those neither cold or hot....if they do not repent, His wrath will be upon them, their names stricken out from the book of Life, strike their children with deadly disease.’

you miss paul completely. He starts with the presumption that the people he is writing to have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Anytime someone has a "secret formula" you can be 100% sure it is baloney. Receive the promise of the Father -- Acts 1 last words of Jesus. You even got Galatians wrong. You must be a reformed teacher. The reformation broke the bond of the holy spirit. Read the Institutes and you will see that I am correct.
@Username Taken John up there is spewing literal nonsense and heresy, but you’re more concerned that I’m being rude. You are the quintessential modern “Christian”; more upset that I hate wickedness than you are by the wickedness itself. Your ilk is foreign to God’s word.
@Username Taken Am I prideful and self-righteous, O wise Knower of men's hearts? It must be really something to possess such a gift as yours; a mere mortal like myself can only imagine. As for your question, some people are so confident in their delusion there is nowhere to start with them. John was wrong in so many ways at once, he gave me this impression. So the thing to do in that case is to use shame, in hopes he will take a step back and ask, "am I really being a silly goose?" And hey there, hypocrite, perhaps instead of of "throwing insults" you should have corrected my error "using scripture". :)

5) Hebrews 10:26-27 says “for if we keep on sinning willfuly after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but only a terrifying expectation of judgement and a fury of fire about to devour the enemies of God.”
6) Matthew 5:20 Jesus says “For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees and Law scholars, you shall never enter the kingdom of God.”
7) Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven , but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
How can you call illbehonest?
@Ray Yancey: I’m one of the pastors here. You could send us an email at questions@illbehonest.com.
The logistics of trying to take phone calls are just not practical for all the inquiries we receive. There are three of us serving as pastors here and I also work full-time outside I’ll Be Honest/Grace Community Church. Thanks.
Where is it at?
@@rayyancey3044 Do you mean I'll Be Honest? It's a ministry of Grace Community Church in San Antonio, Texas. www.gccsatx.com is our church web site. Thanks.
How long does it take for them to respond do they respond to your email?
@@rayyancey3044 It just depends. Having answered emails for 5-6 years, sometimes you're swamped. The men from our church who answer the emails are men with families and full-time jobs as well. They do their best to answer promptly. Thanks.
Romans 2:29 But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.
So your message is telling God's people that it is OK... to sin now.... wow....
Can you clarify on what point in the video you are referring to? Thanks.
There is no secret formula

you miss paul completely.
Haha, you're a silly goose!
So the thing to do in that case is to use shame, in hopes he will take a step back and ask, "am I really being a silly goose?"
And hey there, hypocrite, perhaps instead of of "throwing insults" you should have corrected my error "using scripture". :)
