I had to agree with you on the Monsters Unmasked house. I as well am a huge theater geek and have seen both Phantom of the Opera and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on Broadway along with many other amazing shows and I absolutely loved everything about this house. The rain as you walked in to meet The Hunchback nearly took my breathe away. Everything brought me right back to Broadway. Seems like I was the only one in my group who enjoyed this house but I'm so glad I did.

He really does! It's funny because we took a Behind the Screams tour where we can tour some of the houses with the lights on. During this tour we discovered that the workers at Universal always hide a specific animal or creature within the houses as a little easter egg. This year was Frogs, because there were so many similarities between Dr. Facillier and Oddfellow! LOL!!! I thought that was hilarious! Especially as they are such rivals!

I attended R.I.P. in Hollywood this past Thursday. I have done both coasts for the past 2 years. Did not make it to Orlando this year.
I have to be honest. I will probably not be purchasing tickets next year. I felt as though it was lack luster this year & not worth the $459 price tag. So I am going to branch out & attend some other haunts next year.
Oh wow, that's a lot of events every year! That's awesome! Yeah, I understand how you feel. The price tag is steep for these events! I definitely enjoyed HHN30 a bit more than this years event. Hopefully, they will continue to improve.
Man, I bet those performers and "scare" actors at events like Universal HHN, Knott's Scary Farm, etc. cannot WAIT until the season is over! They have gotta be exhausted and tired of doing the same old schtick over and over again for the last 8 weeks! You KNOW they're counting down these last two days of October! 🤣
For sure! Especially inside the houses. At least in the scare zones they can walk around and be creative with scares!
I worked a haunted hayride for a couple of years. We loved every minute & loved scaring people.
I bet they wish it didn't end. I bet they love the thrill of the scare and it's such an adrenaline rush for them. However I'm sure they are glad for rest and hope they are getting plenty of it. They did fantastic this year.
