Excellent job of coming up with a slim line card. You were so wonderful and the card turned out beautiful. I really like the way you made your envelope as well! Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow that was fabulous I’m a beginner and I don’t have a Lot material to work with, but I love your style thank you for sharing, when I get more material when ever my finances get better I am going to try making that card it’s beautiful thank you for sharing have a great day
@@TxStampinSharon I'd love to send you a photo of what your card inspired me to do but I don't see anyway to do it here, however just keep inspiring us all.

I ABSOLUTELY love this! I have never made a slimline card because of the envelope issue also. Thank you for this! I am going to make one today! This was fantastic!!
I have made slimline cards, but not using strips like you showed today. I will definitely give this a try. I have made the envelopes before and was thrilled you followed the same method I did. I saw someone else on You Tube showing this envelope and it does work quite well. Thanks!
Oh, it's just like Delft Blue ceramics. I love the Boho Medley, but it's still beyond my means. Actually, in our monthly team Card Swap, we had to use the Herringbone strip layering technique. I struggled, but did it. Perhaps I've been too eager: making it today is sitll well in time before I have to send mine off. Actually, I made several Slim Line cards already. In The Netherlands, we need to weigh our mail and using that much card stock would make yours, although beautifully done, far too expensive to mail. Thanks for sharing, Sharon!
I love to make these cards and I do use thinner paper so that extra postage won't be needed. I forget to decorate the enevelope so thanks for a reminder. Have a good day.
I'm so glad you did the envelope tutorial!!!! I've been shying away from slimline cards because I didn't know how to make the envelopes out of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. You're the best!
Hi, Sharon! I have made many slimline cards years ago, but I haven't jumped on the slimline craze yet this year. I have the Boho DSP and your card today has nudged me to use it and make a card similar to yours. Thanks for your creativity and motivation. Have a great day!
Love your card and envelope! Great tip putting glue on mat and not the strips, as I get glue all over my fingers and scissors. DUH! I learn something from every one of your videos. Thank you sharing. 🤗
Wow Sharon .... I wasn't sure I was going to get into the Slimline card Craze .... but you have inspired me to give them a try. Especially with the envelope option. Thank you
Who would have thought our leftover strips would make such a lovely card. This is one I'm going to try with Christmas DSP. Thank you for envelope design also. Hope all are doing well.
I make my envelopes out of odd ball paper that I’m not likely to use on a card but that somewhat coordinates with the card I’m putting in it. This helps lighten the weigh the card.
A fabulous card, never made one also in all my 25 years with stamping up. Just beautiful, love Boho too. You've inspired me to try this one, thank you for sharing ❤️
Really nice card, Sharon, I love it. ☺️ I think it would be fun to revisit creative and unique ways to create stand-alone gift card holders. Something fancier than just an extra card stock scrap inside a card... I remember doing several different kinds of these 15-ish years ago and they were so fun and creative. One was made with the a2 sized envelope folded somehow, and another one (made with cardstock) was triple folded - kind of like a mini wallet. They were so cute! Of course, I can't remember how to do any of them now. LOL
Oh! I think I remember those! Well, now you have my head spinning! Thank you, I will have to see if I can make one! It would be great for gift cards or holding cash! So glad the you enjoyed my card today!
Fabulous card Sharon, I’ve made at least 6 slimline cards and love them. It’s funny because I cut some strips from my Boho Indigo DSP the other day but didn’t think to use them this way but I definitely will try this, it looks great. 🌸🌸🌸

Beautiful! I love doing this technique. A hint I can give you for the ribbon is to cut the fold and then cut one of the ends to a different length to reduce the thickness. Thank you for all the videos that inspire so many.
You “knocked it out of the part” for your first slimline card - it’s lovely! Thanks for the dimensions for the envelope. I’m definitely going to try this. ❤️🇨🇦
