- Clean and distorted rhythm comparison between Seymour Duncan Custom 5 SH-14 (passive) and DiMarzio Super Distortion (passive) pickups for electric guitar on the bridge position. Settings are the following:
GUITAR
Tuning: Eь / D#
Strings: D'Addario EXL140 (010-052 gauge)
AMP
Clean: EVH 5150 III profile (Kemper Profiler)
Distortion: Peavey 5150 profile (Kemper Profiler)
RECORDING TECHNIQUE:
- One centered mono track per pickup.
- Same config and EQ for both.

Which one should be perfectly match for neck if I install Super distortion in the bridge position (H-S-S configuration guitars)?
@Mike Stamper Great comparison, thank you for doing this. I would take either one, they both sounded great! How different is the Custom (SH-5) from the Custom 5 (SH-14)? Love to hear that comparison also. Thanks!

Super distortion provides much more crystall clean and high gain, which can be differenciated
