My eyes are exactly like yours. I've always had slightly downturned hooded eyes since childhood and I absolutely hated them. You've shown me how beautiful and interesting they really can be. I'm starting truly appreciate my eyes. Thank you!
I have extremely hooded eyes where the area with a wing liner should go has a massive fold. Its interesting to see how even in hooded eyes theres so many variations. I usually skip doing the wing liner or have it pointed downwards. Having your eyes opened how you would usually and then doing eyeshadow was a massive gamechanger for me. I havent tried lashes yet because i dont have tweezers and after this maybe i will specifically look out for individual lashes!!
So glad the algorithm brought you to me!!! Not only do I have a small build and heavily hooded eyes but I'm creeping up on 50... But I adore colorful eyeshadow and I'm struggling with feeding my inner magpie with shaping.. I do envy your epicanthic fold tho... I've got a cave right there 🙄

Finally a genuinely hooded eye. I have a real fold on the outer end and have never been able to do a winged liner.
I also have hooded eyes so you make the make-up technique quite simple!!
