1:22 Evan being influenced is something I made a theory on… my opinion so leave me William may care about his kids but isn’t a good parent he is what you call a narcissistic parent,there are 3 terms for the children here! Evan(The Golden Child):these kids can still be abused in some way but one the narcissistic parent loves the most a sort of, BRAT per se,they usually act like their parents when they grow up having narcissistic traits themselves!,and if they have kids they’ll likely end up being worse,a sort of copy of the parent but a worse version Elizabeth(Forgotten Child):They are simply left behind, the parent will almost never interact with them! no matter how hard the kid tries they are forgotten! Micheal(Scapegoat or Unwanted Child):These kids grow up to have low self esteem,trust issues and depression and chose partners(friends) with other narcissistic parents,they also tend to act out!(Found in neglectful or abusive families or in this case:Narcissistic Family. hopefully this helps I probably missed shit
