      It is phenomenal. It's extremely powerful because it's brushless. And with a 6.0 high out put battery I can do a whole car.
      The ONLY complaint I have is that it's a lil heavy. But if you really care about that, you could get compact 3.0 batteries

    Great machine; loud like a helicopter

    I have this polisher in a 15mm. They also make a 21mm. . I've also got their 12v da hand sander. Other then that I have 5 or 6 different Shinemates. All of them are great machines. I absolutely love both manufacturers. But every single one of them all use the crap grease and not enough. I to also use Schafers grease in mine. Probably because I use their oil as well in my vehicles. Great video, Brian. We have 3 dogs and a cat. Love them all like our kids.

    You are so correct about pets. Loved mine to pieces. Unfortunately had to put my best friend down last year. Heartbreaking.
    Now.....the polisher. I have Milwaukee tools already, so this would be a good fit as far as batteries. The only concern for me is weight. 6 lbs!! Yikes! I am not the strongest person in the world, and anytime I can cut down on weight, I do it. The polishers i have now are corded and weigh about 5 lbs. That's heavy enough for me polishing for an extended period of time. Have you tried the new cordless Rupes yet? I heard it's lighter.
    I'm happy you reviewed this one because I really trust your opinion. You are right pretty much of the time. Give Sissy another treat and tell her it's from Kim. Lol.

    Hey Brian, you'll definitely want to go with an XC 5.0ah minimum. Best bang for your buck would be the new forged 6.0ah with the supercharger, 80% in 15 minutes. The forged 6.0 similar if not better performance than the XC 8.0ah.

    I don’t have this polisher but it is a decent machine. I like that you take it apart and change the grease.It’s very important for the longevity of the machine.Thanks for the video Brian ✊👑

    A large enclosed trailer that is chalked up, hand the unit to a newbie to break in both. How well they can go the distance for long stretches' of time.

      @ thanks! I’m an enthusiast who’s learned a great deal from your videos. Especially helpful has been your almost-casual attitude towards fluid selection, and a greater focus on pad selection and technique. Again, thanks.

    You think for the price of the machine that the manufacturer would put quality grease in it.

  • @dustin3700

    The noise alone is a hard No. Add in the vibration when using more than an hour at a time is not the best choice. If you polish alot invest and buy a rupes or flex. Quiet and the smoothest you'll find.

    I'm 2 minutes into this video and already reached my WTF limit. You are comparing height and weight of the Milwaukee tool with a 3AH battery vs a DeWalt with a 6AH battery without even mentioning the discrepancy. Then you compared the sound and vibration of the Milwaukee at its lowest setting with the DeWalt running about 4000 RPMs. Not only that but you can tell that the Milwaukee wasn't a full-speed trigger pull as it spun up then slowed down a bit to keep the phone from falling off, vs the DeWalt running a lot faster. This is disappointing to see from this channel, I expect better.

    • @joeschmoe6908
      @joeschmoe6908 4 години тому

      That dewalt was nowhere near 4k rpm, and the milwaukee was not on it's lowest speed. If there was a discrepancy it wasn't a large one. Regardless, no polisher will be balanced without a pad so test is totally irrelevant.

    • @muaddba
      @muaddba 3 години тому

      @@joeschmoe6908 Look at the video, you can see that the milwaukee is set on the lowest speed (there is no lower speed marking to the left of the dial where it's set) and the dewalt is set 1 selection below 4000. I can see these details when using full-screen on my monitor, so maybe try that on yours. If -- as you say -- the test is irrelevant without pads on it then that's another strike against this video.
