i really think once respawn has at least 3 of these kinds of modes they could easily just stick them in an arcade playlist or bring one mode into rotation for the full week
It'd be so cool if we had that. Can't believe we've had Control twice, TDM on mobile, now Gun Run but Arenas is still the only permanent non-BR mode :l
I think they should honestly just rotate out arena, control, and gun game.

Path is INCREDBILE on gun run. He can gain height anywhere and you can get so freaking far with his tac. I'm on controller and path is a blast, got 20 kills with him.
Hope respawn can actively release more ltm's in a rotation to save us from this content drought

Also I was hoping for this! You see thst original Skull Town is in the Ash factory with the fake environments.
pro tip, wattson plyon literal regens your shields super fast.
i've found that maggie is best for fragment and rev is best for skulltown but gibby is honestly pretty op that's a solid idea
Why maggie?
Idk, Maggie just doesn't make it for me, you don't get shotguns 80% of the time, her drill doesn't score you kills(just like all abilities in this mode), and ball is pretty bad in 1v1s. Octane with his super spammable jump pads is just superior.
caustic and wattson re great for fraggies. octane and pathy work on both maps really good
that gun upgrade noise sounds like my dog squealing and it throws me off.
I think the best team for this gamemode is Wattson, Lifeline, and probably Crypto. Cuz Wattson's ult can help out a ton with shields, and here tactical could steal a building from people, Lifeline can help with both healing and blue shields, and Crypto could just EMP an area with a bunch of people.
EDIT: Seer would also be a good teammate, cuz if I'm correct his tactical stops people from using stuff like heals or shields, and since heals are an important thing in this, that'll be a game changer, also I wonder if Wattson's ult makes the knife disappear, since it IS a throwing weapon.
I like that the gun lineup is different each game. If i recall correctly, apex mobile only has one set order in its version of gun game

imo run gun is more of a fast pace game than control. you dont get spawnkilled when the enemy team is way too dominant and it feels more like hotdropping in BR

The mode itself is nice but I wasn’t able to get the fn knife once bc the matchmaking is worse than it is already in pubs if u play skull town wattsons block everything if u play worlds edge causticc does the same fuse everywhere and not forget getting shot by 4 different angles

This game mode can also be bugged my whole team got past the knife but we still lost.
The most annoying thing about this game mode is having three stacks with Lifeline and Wattson just camping height all game especially fragment.

So far very mixed opinions on this mode. Half of legend's abilities make you crash spontaneously, also respawning resets your tactical's cooldown so you could really spam some. Wattson is good if you have decent teammates and her ult could really pull the scales in your favour, just like Lifeline's drone.
The things that irritate me beyond reason are sudden flashes into scoreboard instead of damage log and awkward interface stutters.
Surprisingly, matchmaking works better for this mode than in BR.
