Oh my gosh I had that metal shelf and kept my record player on it then had that album the twist. That brought back some memories..I loved my wire shelf..my teen years were so long ago....thx for the memories. I would have totally bought those items just because of the memories alone..the globe is the vietname war memorial..my brother was in vietnam and was in the service for twenty years .he came back with horrible post traumatic stress syndrome..we must remember the sacrifices they made .he is gone now and I miss my brother every day .
When your sons are older, you should visit the memorial. It's very moving to see all of the names and see the mementos left behind by family and friends.
@@GoGreen1977 Agree. It's really a must-see. As is the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknowns. I was literally brought to tears by it. I took my kids to D.C. when they were 10 and 13. I rode them ragged taking them to every monument and memorial we could see in a 4-day trip.
When you showed that Christmas string of lights I got excited because that size of light, well at least colored ones are harder to find. You can buy them on EBay or Amazon, but the prices are higher. I don't know if you had read this but Stephen and Tabitha King are turning their red or white house into an archive and writers retreat. I believe the Kings have another home in Maine.
Hi Nicole! I enjoy your channel. The little glass dish with the handle and spout is Anchor Hocking Hobnail Moonstone Opalescent. That one is just a type of candy dish. My mother born in the 1930s has a nice collection of Moonstone.I love looking at Christmas year round!
@@NestingHaven It's a heart shaped candy dish. You pass/offer it with the handle, kind of giving the love. Too shallow and wide for gravy it would cool rapidly and spill easily.
I love your shop with me video's, I like to see what you pick or don't. I like to see through someone else's eyes. I see through mine daily. Keep buying Christmas all year! 😊
Hi Nicole, When you were looking at the Donald Duck mug I could see a piece of microwave cookware I believe was Littonware on the shelf. Check it out, and the comps online. If it was in good condition you may want to keep watch for it... sells well and the prices will surprise you. I love watching you thrift... it’s nearly as fun as thrifting myself.
That ceramic cow with hooks is so adorable! That’s the Viet Nam wall in Washington, D.C. Family and friends do rubbings of their loved one’s name. It’s a very emotional place to visit.
The tea for one was nice too. Have two myself and enjoy them. The design on it was very pretty. It is interesting to see the neat stuff they have in thrift shops in different parts of the country.
That spoon rack was unusual and lovely. If the price was right, could be useful for displaying items in your booth. Not just spoons, but jewelry or other miscellaneous.
Love the Scottie dog tray! I was bummed when the record wasn’t in there too! I’m sure you got the other Walt Disney one lol I have the Kurt Cobain notebook, I was a fan of 90’s grunge! 🤗
I wanted to buy it. I loved nirvana too. I was just annoyed they put $5.00 on it when their books are all normally $3 or less. I know two dollars shouldn’t matter but idk it just made me feel like they were overcharging lol
Just recently started watching you, my first time commenting. I am also a reseller, love all of your finds and videos! :) Love the Nirvana-Kurt Cobain journal!
I haven’t been to Maine yet but we are planning a trip when things get back to normal. Not sure where we will go at this time. I really like your videos.
Tea for one. Personally I like s larger tea cup than that, so for me that wouldn't be very practical. I liked the metal two tier tray. I like the little hobnail dish. I would use for a relish dish or on my night table to put my watch and rings in. I would have definitely purchased that dish, many uses.
If you ever decide to sell the popular "farmhouse" style things, I see tons of stuff in almost all your thrift with me videos that people with that style would love.
There's a bunch of Homer Laughlin Fiesta Ware at my neighborhood Good Will Store. A set of yellow and green dinner plates, six cups and saucers and a cream/sugar set. Looked older [not an expert in dishes]...and I do not collect these, or sell The plates were 1.98 each as were the cups and saucers. Don't see items like these often. Could be the Vietnam Wall. I see a large quantity of bear-themed items here...not into bears myself. Frogs are my "thang".
I am sorry but I do not understand how you can pass up that ceramic, gingerbread house teapot that was brown (your favorite color mine too) I have gotten so many cool, unique, vintage teapots at least 5 already since Jan open in NJ. I just have a thing for ceramic teapots and No! here in NJ clowns are hard pressed to be found. What's funny is I always thought SK was from the Jersey Shore I really am not sure though- good to find out the truth now. Thanks
I am from the uk saw you picked up the pumpkin pie dish have tried it and I don't like it very much it tastes very fibros I know it is very popular in the states

it is the Vietnam Wall Memorial
Thank you!

I agree, it is very moving and brought tears to my eyes. Also to see families visiting their loved one's name was so sad.
I would love to visit.

I think the gravy boat thing is actually a candy dish.
Fenton moonstone candy dish 😍
I’m sure it is.
Moon glass ....buyer talks a lot but really not knowledgeable
The white laced hobnail bowl is probably a candy dish. 💖

They have a home in Lovell Maine and one in Sarasota Florida.
Love the care you put into making your videos they are relaxing and Informative.
Thanks so much, Rickey!

Thank you! I think it may just be grape shaped and not a spout then. Probably could make shift it into a gravy boat if needed though haha 😉
@@NestingHaven It's a heart shaped candy dish. You pass/offer it with the handle, kind of giving the love. Too shallow and wide for gravy it would cool rapidly and spill easily.
I don’t make or eat gravy so I really have no clue on it. The spout just was interesting. 😊
L
The brown, foldable wooden thing is a basket for fruit or candy.
I love your shop with me video's, I like to see what you pick or don't. I like to see through someone else's eyes. I see through mine daily. Keep buying Christmas all year! 😊
Yes!!! Finally another thrift with me video!!! I love your videos because you actually show whats on the shelfs.
The metal shelf is for towels, it's a bathroom shelf.
Old piece

I got that little gold filigree church in Germany about 39 years ago... I got that boy and girl under the umbrella in Germany also
That ceramic cow with hooks is so adorable! That’s the Viet Nam wall in Washington, D.C. Family and friends do rubbings of their loved one’s name. It’s a very emotional place to visit.
The little teapot holds enough for two cups of tea, perfect for one person. Pretty ones like that are really popular here in the uk!
The tea for one was nice too. Have two myself and enjoy them. The design on it was very pretty. It is interesting to see the neat stuff they have in thrift shops in different parts of the country.
Thanks for watching Judith!
Mad in italy pasta plates were beautiful 😍 gosh they had a lot of cute plates ,tea pots , cups..
Wire rack is a record player stand and the wood thing is a wood basket that collapse into itself.
Cool walk through 😎 love that you look at other items other than glass things 😉 loved the old vinyls too!! Conway is one of my favorites 💖
I like some Conway songs. My uncle sang a lot of his songs and it reminds me of him.
I hope you got the orange bell cow to go with your blue bowed goose 😊😊❤️❤️,tfs
😉 Thanks for watching!
Pretty Candy Dish not gravy boat. Nice haul.
Gravy boat is a candy dish
Amen
Vinegar and baking soda will clean anything up very well you should try it sometime!!
The Paris thing you picked up is actually a cup. The hotel has little alcohol stands and if you buy a tourist cup you got cheaper refills.
Yay for Christmas!
Never ignore those grab bags. I found a figurine in one that I sold in hrs for $250.
That spoon rack was unusual and lovely. If the price was right, could be useful for displaying items in your booth. Not just spoons, but jewelry or other miscellaneous.
It was neat!
Cup/teapot combo is for a single cup of tea. I saw a lot of them at Pier One, 5 or 10 years ago. I have one, they are cute but kinda useless.
Haha noted! Thanks Chris!

The Eagle item is used for quarters.
Oh the state quarters! That makes sense!
I used to live in Kittery Maine as a young girl as well as Elliot, Maine!!

You could shop Christmas every video for me lol. X
I haven’t been to Maine yet but we are planning a trip when things get back to normal. Not sure where we will go at this time. I really like your videos.
Anything In particular you want to see in Maine? We are a large state with quite the variety.
Looked like some really great records. TFS

the bears are salt and pepper shaker holders. Saw them at Yellowstone
Fun walkthrough!
Thanks!
That’s too bad about Pinocchio, that was sold at the theaters during the rerelease in the 1970s. I still have mine!
You’re so young!
Lol
Makes me laugh sometimes the things you know exactly what they are and then others blow your mind-
The wooden thing is a bowl. You grab the wood handles and the other pieces slip to a stacking. Then you can fill it with candy- or whatever.
@@kellyfiore4296 You have to admit it's kinda of weird and a lot of work for a candy bowl. LOL
Kelly Fiore , I know, right? Makes me smile.
That is a replica of the Viet Nam Wall. When people visit, they trace the names of friends and family.
Thank you. It sounds like a very moving place!
Scottie tray reminds me of a Mary Englebreit item. She did a lot with Scottie dog.
The "gravy boat" is a strawberry serving dish
They had some nice stuff.
Thanks Bobbie
That monument is the Vietnam Wall in DC
My sister in law grew up near Stephen king in Bangor Maine!
It’s a cool City with a small town vibe. 💕
Love that plant rack ! And that price 🙌🏻.
The Vietnam memorial is the monument.

The globe with the names on a wall may have been the Vietnam wall
That plant stand could be used in a closet for shoes?
Some of that stuff you were picking up I've seen at the dollar tree....they have fake vintage looking stuff there
I enjoyed video thanks for sharing .
It is the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC
I'll look at Christmas, or any holiday, any time......a bargain is a bargain all day long.
Yes! My people! 🙌
I would say a candy or nut dish.
Those bowls were Ironston
I believe the bears held bee hive shakers?
That makes sense!
Do you ever see milk glass?

Would love to see your Donald Duck Collection
It's not a gravy boat. It is a candy dish. It looks like a Fenton piece.
👍👍👍
Candy dish hob nail I think
dammit is called tea for one. Some are worth some money.
❤️❤️
Thanks for watching
Probably part of the Vietnam Memorial!
I think most the stuff you have on ebay would do way better on Etsy.
favorite piece at 9:58 the cream and green jar... great video...

I like the creative spelling!
Don’t like clowns
Vietnam Memorial in D.C and that's not a gravy bowl.
That's a tea for one pot. Very popular. Teapot and cup combined
I'm guessing that's a hobnail silvercrest candy dish but not sure
