Hey My Sweet Friend, I got busy and forgot to post my pic yesterday, but will today. These are a little time consuming, but what else have you got to do, there's always time for crafting. The whole trick to these is not bake them, let them air dry. I put them outside on cooling racks or cardboard. Check on them, flip them over and let the back side take a turn to air dry. I still have the very first ones I made over 20 years ago. Try it Friend, you are amazing!!
Good morning 🌄.. Joann that is absolutely beautiful 😍.. you have some good talent it is super detailed..I'm so happy and thankful for you.. I really appreciate you...❤ thank you so much and for the shout out..😊 the Santa is super cute...
Hi Ruthie, Thanks for watching!! The best way to get a great start is to put them outside during the summer and letting them air dry. I will have more tips to share with everyone later on. Appreciate you Friend ❤️
YAY, I'm so happy you found them. These are my favorite and I never get tired of making them every year. Thanks for watching, appreciate you Sweet Friend!!
Thank you for your recipe.. if it works for you then it must be good.. I'm gonna order some gingerbread cookie cutters right after this..again. thank you for sharing. I'm going to start a tradition. Let my grandkids make one every year until they dont want to anymore..they are 5 and 6 so I got a few years if I live long enough..❤🎄❤❤🎄❤🎄🎄❤🎄🎄❤❤🎄❤🎄
I used to make these with my daughters when they were all younger, and I’m so glad you brought it back to my attention because it brings back very happy memories for me at times that were so much simpler. I think I’m going to try to get my adult daughters to make these with me again this year!

@@MonkeyLillianLouise2016 Hello Lillian, So grateful for your support and so happy to hear you are crafting. Appreciate you!! God bless you and have a great weekend!! ❤️
@@joannbarrandey Thank you so much! God bless you too. Lillian is my monkey. My name is Judy :) I thought the video where you talked about all of you crafters supporting each other was so sweet. I started my channel 5 years ago and have struggled. It seems that other monkey channels feel like they should be the only monkey channel and unfortunately they are not very nice. One in particular that has a lot of subscribers uses his platform to talk bad about other monkey owners. I got Lillian because I was depressed about losing my dad and my husband wanted to give me a monkey to fulfill a childhood dream. She did just that. She brought back my smile. She is almost 6 now and is just amazing!! I never knew I could love her like I do. If you know anyone that might enjoy my videos, or even yourself, please send them my way. Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. :)
...by the way, we let our monkey climb trees, no leash, and raise her and her two little sisters with love and respect. We are truly a different monkey channel than the rest. See you in your next video xo

Hi Deborah, You are so sweet!! Thanks for watching and Welcome, appreciate you Friend!! You make my heart happy!!
These are absolutely ADORABLE!!!! I am considering making some similar to donate to classrooms so the kids can paint them and give them to their parents as gifts.
Hi Friend, Thanks for watching, That is a great idea, perfect!! Friend send me an email jobarrandey@gmail.com I want to give you a big “shout Out” on my next video. I have a big ❤️ for educators and I think you have a great channel.
I gather you live in Arlington. My brother was a firefighter in Arlington. We were raised in North Richland Hills and I had many friends in Arlington. Go Arlington, lol. I live near Tyler now. I knew you were special, lol. Thank you for the fun video. Great job! You and your son always make me laugh and smile. Have a wonderful day!
Hello Friend, actually I live in Alvarado south of Ft Worth, out in the country. Thanks for your comment, you make my ❤️ happy!! Appreciate you!!
@@joannbarrandey Oh, I know where that is. I used to pick up animal food in Waxahachie for my animal rescue and I think you are about an hour from there and about 2 hours from Athens, that's where I am (close to Tyler). I am making some of the things for Christmas that you shared and I just let your videos run while I am working on them. They aren't turning out as good as yours, lol, but I am giving it all I have, lol. I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks again for your video! :)

These are adorable!! I was wondering where you got your large cookie cutters? How big are they? I'm enjoying your crafting ideas. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Rhonda, appreciate you!! The Santa and Angel ornaments are about 5 inches tall. My cookie cutters are old, the Santa came from Hallmark and the Angel was from Walmart. I had a viewer tell me she found both of them on EBAY. I love them, in fact I just make some of both this week to take to a Fall Craft Show my Church is having this Saturday.
Love it, where did you get the large cookie cutters
Hi Sweet friend!! I have had the cookie cutters for a very long time. I have had viewers say they found them on amazon.
@@joannbarrandey thank you I love your videos I need to get my butt in gear and start doing mine again you are an inspiration!!!!
I’ve been making my way through your videos omg I LOVE THESE ornaments they are to precious I just think you are the sweetest lady and love everything I’ve seen so far ❤️
Hello Friend, Thanks for watching, appreciate you!! Dough ornaments is one craft I never get tired of making. I have enjoyed giving them out at Christmas to family and friends for over 20 years.
We used to make these ornaments when we were kids.
Does the water have to be hot, warm or cold when you put the tea bags in the water over night?
Hi Denise, Thanks again for your support. I used regular water from the faucet. Cold is fine. Happy Crafting!! ❤️
Hello i have a question how long when you put Them in the oven greetings from the Netherlands love the video.s 🥰🥰🥰
Hello Sweet Friend from the Netherlands, Welcome, appreciate you very much!! I do not put them in the oven, I let them air dry outside. If you bake them in the oven they swell up and lose their shape and get very hard.
Oke thanks 👍💯
What does adding tea to the water do? Give it color? Love these! Gonna make these all throughout the year so that I’ll have plenty for Christmas! Ty
Yes, the tea gives it that natural bake look. Thanks for asking, appreciate you Friend!!
hi .... what size of cookie cutter are you using to get a larger "cookie" to paint ?I love your crafts .... thank you for sharing
Hi Kim, Thanks for watching!! ❤️ The Santa is 6 X 6 and the Angel is 4 1/2 X 3 inches. I love to make the larger ones for gifts. Happy Crafting Friend!!
So glad I found your channel, Is it ok to use plain flour? I’ve always wanted to make these types of ornaments.
Hi Kim, Using plain flour would work just fine. These ornaments are so fun to make and decorate and they make great gifts and are very budget friendly. Thanks for watching and Welcome Friend, appreciate you. Happy Crafting!!
