- The Clepto-Maniacs - Positive Feedback (Climax Mix).
Excellent 1992 Hardcore track from The Clepto-Maniacs and released on the Fokus label.
Buggered if I know how the recording skips between mono and stereo BTW. Was ripped years ago on an old laptop, recorded on Audacity.
Little factoid for you all.. Toby Grafty-Smith was the keyboardist for Jamiroquai and Tin Tin was the promoter for the rave Energy back in the day... I used to hang with them in the studio when this track was being made.. good times
Yep that's right, Toby Smith from Jamiriquai, a very talented keyboard player, who sadly passed on in 2017
I love the way you can hear so many emerging genres in just one song. Hardcore, techno, house, jungle, breakbeat, progressive house and even a hint of trance. What and amazing, seminal song.
True
just what i was thinking ! salute
You forgot garage lol 😜
If you weren't getting peeled off the ceiling when this song hits 2 mins in you were doing it all wrong 😂😂

Just keeps on giving. Timeless piece of weaponry! 😃😃😃😃
This is still amazing even today, one of those tracks that defined an era for me. Blew me away the first time I heard it then found it again a few months ago and blew me away again, this is why I love you tube and the internet. Legendary.
You're not wrong. Crazy how a few bars of a track take you from being 50 back to being 20 again.....fkin love it 🔥
remember slammin to this one, wonderful times, 1989-93 forever
Great tune and as many have mentioned, gotta love ( you tube )
I have found plenty of tunes even by reading the comments which gets you deeper !! 88-92/93 👊👊
First heard Druid drop this in the Sterns basement sometime 92.
Never forgot the moment, can still feel the vibe, will always remember the unknown faces smiling back at me.
We were all brothers and sisters.

You just cant beat that feeling when a tune pops up that you have not heard for a couple of decades.
I cant remember whether it was kiss fm or not but I had shitloads of copper wire coming out of my aerial to get a decent reception
Maybe up there with one of the greatest old skool rave tunes. Absolute banger!

Carl Cox at your local leisure centre. Those were the days lol. Gutted I was too young to be raving till about late 1994 as I missed a lot of awesome raves. Listened to the tapes though and mixed the tunes as a young lad in my room. This one's a banger..

Still got my copy that I picked up in 1992…… Serious record to drop on a 10K club system.
Had this on a promo and listen all the time when we went to a club in london called the brain. I lost the track decades ago, and am pretty pleased to find on youtube: Until this evening I could never recall the track title. I think I also had it on the fokus release. Time to hunt it down ( in a box of records)
Totally forgot about this STONKA 🔊🤯🕺👍

An absolute banging legendary tune bi thanks 💕👍🏻💊
I got this from bridgerecords Walsall for 50p back in 95 if memory serves
This track was doing the rounds from late 1991 onwards, probably on some kind of pre-release of sorts. Maybe acetate, limited test pressing. Heard it many times way before Xmas of that year. Big, big tune. All time classic. Always really liked Technophobic Lisa as well, on the darker tip though.
White label DJ promo till 92
Pretty sure it's on a Raindance or Amnesia tape from NYE '91
@@djonfonsteen6331 Was around from 1991 though. Even Colin Faver / Colin Dale on Kiss FM played it in late '91 and that station was relatively mainstream. Definitely heard it during late 1991.
I agree. Defo. It was doing the rounds in Manchester clubs in 91 I'm sure. Konspiracy which was next door to Manchester underground Records, Sound Garden and Hippos in Middleton. As did most banging choons. Edit (Sunset radio 808 state show had it in their top ten)
Wicked!!! Unbelievable track!!
