That's what I LOVE abt BTS, once a western artist reaches a certain level (& I've also seen this w/ Korean artists too), I've always felt a disconnect & the amount of effort is visibly less to the point ur thinking, do they even care abt their fans or the quality they deliver anymore? Not BTS, the higher they fly the greater the sense of responsibility they feel towards us, to show better music, better stages & better performances. They're still hustling every day like it's day 1. Sure their material circumstances, living comforts & working conditions (fancy studios etc) are incomparable from then & now (havin started from a tiny indie label that was in debt & all of em sharing 1 bedroom w/ 3 bunk beds & a tiny single in it) but their passion, eagerness, humility & hunger still remains.
One of the most beautiful & meaningful things I've heard from them is when a journalist asked them who they thought were their biggest rivals in the industry (expecting BTS to name another band), instead they said my 6 brothers right here. The way BTS write & produce their songs is like a battle, only the best lines, melodies & beats make it on to the album so yeah they're competing w/ each other but not in a toxic way... so if only 2 of ur songs made it this time their attitude isn't one of ego or sabotage but damn I need to work harder for the next one & this way the level of our albums can only get higher. They said whenever one member feels tired & is tempted to be lazy, they only had to look at another member beside them who was still workin their a$$ off to be motivated again.
They expressed it so beautifully: we are each others rivals but also each others greatest motivators & support system. We fill each others weaknesses & encourage those aspects to get stronger, we are a TEAM so pls love us all equally. The band motto they've famously adopted is the very inspiring: TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK X
I have a belief it's all Bang Shi Hyuk's influence. He raised them like that. That man needs to run schools xD

I'm happy that you both are willing to take the time to learn about BTS and who they are. The fact that you guys are really genuine about what you say and not faking it means everything to not only me but fellow ARMY everywhere.
In case you didn't know the ARMY is very sensitive about who reacts to BTS or K-pop in general because some people would just react to them for views and give a fake response. So for you both to be genuine is rare and amazing from my perspective on behalf of ARMY and fandoms everywhere I thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart.
Just like they treat each other as a family is how ARMY treat each other BTS taught us to ignore everything from race to sexuality etc, we are all family and have no reason to fight with each other.
Also the ARMY is known to have that other side where if someone bashes them it's game over.
I think that's about all I have to say and also even though you're still kinda new welcome to the ARMY/ family I see no reason why not to call you a army 😊

Yup, this is why (we) the fans go so hard for these boys! Despite all this, they're still humble and down to earth. They enjoy a day at the park eating cup o' noodles (ramen) and when they go on vacations, they're happy to just smell the air.

I love your reaction and appreciation for their hard work. Jungkook moving away at the age of 13 to live with 6 guys in their late teens, must have been tough. He's talked about crying because he missed his parents. The guys raised him through his most formative years and he's so talented. Please react to the vocal lines solo songs live performances. They are each incredible singing and dancing. Here's the names: Jungkook, V - Singularity, Jin - Awake, Jimin - Lie. They've been offered to not live together anymore and they've declined. They took J Cole's Born Sinner song and changed the words, but it's emotional because the rap line raps about their struggles. Thanks for finally taking time to get to know them. We appreciate it so much. Most reactors just react to their songs and openly say they don't care about our boys. And everything you said about the boys, they're really true. They may be filming and documenting everything since rookie days, but they weren't just acting. they've been very consistent with their personalities since day 1. They're always very open, respectful and humble. They never fail to connect to the fans thru their personal logs , always caring and thoughtful. In fact, everytime they win awards, first thing they always do is to go on live broadcasts to thank armys.
Just an interesting note: (correct me if I'm wrong Armys! 😁) they've written 3 songs just for their army.
"2!3!" A song of comfort in hard times.
"Pied Piper" a song that reminds their fans not to focus too much on them, for student armys to give enough time for their studies and for adult armys to also give time for themselves and other things.
"Magic Shop" a song off of LY : Tear album telling armys that if they're struggling or having a hard time, we can find comfort in them (and in their songs).

What I fear is they become kinda mainstream. That they get the „everyone loves and hypes them anyways“ tag and people put them in the same place of girl‘s crushes like bieber or one direction or something. They’re absolutely more than that I mean these boys do so many things while most of the current american artist have one job: singing and most of them even struggle with that. BTS composes, writes, produces, dances, sings, raps and dances. I fear one day people will stop looking at those things and just label them as the famous ones. Their status in America is kinda like that already. Rn, they’re famous for their huge fanbase and they got a hype in America. But you never see them saying a word about BTS‘ producing or writing skills. Even at the bbmas fans got most of the screentime they barely showed the performance I’m still salty at these camera men.
When they talk about BTS they talk about the fans and their fame and not their actual talents. It can get either worse or change the next months. In Korea it’s completely the opposite: they were the underdogs (cause they different) for so many years and other groups were the mainstream ones.

thank you for your reactions, that you are open - minded, take time to listen to their staff from beginning, not just "close the door" becouse they are Korean and don't speak english. Army could be a little overshadowed and overprotecting sometimes, becouse they struggled a lot, started from the bottom, they are hardworkers and still "down on earth" and humble. Some of YT doesn't give a chance to them, judge and criticise just after see one video from them and mostly consider them as a gay, childish, lipsinging, weird, just pretty faces that don't know to sing.....
