The cherry skirt would look good as kitchen curtains or an apron. The green patterned teapot and cup.. beautiful! I, too, would of bought it. 😊 Tablecloth beautiful as a skirt! Your editing and music of your video is superb. Thank you for sharing.
Aw thank you so much! The cherry piece was actually an apron and I did get it (just forgot to include it)! I'll try to show it sometime in a future video!
I hardly ever shop at goodwill anymore. The prices are outrageous for used and to me is not real thrifting prices. I have been finding a lot off FB marketplace. I love your videos! They are always so comforting and peaceful. Refreshing.
Thank you, Chrissy! Yes, the prices have gotten ridiculous for most items. Thankfully they still have discount days for certain color tags so that makes it a little better. ::-)
Such a fun skirt...what a clever idea....thank you for taking us shopping with you today and showing us how to brighten up our homes a bit...all the best...Melanie Fay
Aunque no entiendo su idioma, gusto mucho de sus videos, siempre que me topo con ellos entro y pongo dedito arriba. Le saludo desde Ecuador, felicitaciones.
I liked the other picture you mentioned , it had more color. Also liked the single candle with handle. skirt is real cute. Love the background music you picked !!
I would have purchased the gorgeous green transfer ware also. Even though it is a reproduction, it looks fantastic in your home!!! I would have brought it home too!!!
Your video content is so peaceful. I love the unique wood piece, I’d place it on my porch with either candle or potted plant in it.. or it would be a great centerpiece too
Seeing this made me miss the days of baby-wearing and nursing. But I definitely have those memories stored in my heart as I watch what incredible adults they are becoming. You found such cute things at Goodwill, even if it was picked over! I heard a tip from another thrifter : to go to areas that are affluent and shop those Goodwill stores. But when I do that, the prices are crazy high. Usually, tablecloths here are between $1.99 and $4.99, depending. But making a skirt out of one is so genius! Yours turned out so lovely!! 💜
Thank you so much! Yes, I've found some of the prices at Goodwill to be quite off-putting but sometimes you can still find a deal, especially if that color tag is on sale that week. Thank you for watching! :-)
Loved this video!! I recently found and original oil portrait from what I assume was Victorian era based upon dress and hair styling. It had a beautiful frame on it and while I have no idea of whom the subject is, I adore it. I agree completely about finding/thrifting your home to create a curated and uniquely “you” home
Homemaking is an artistic endeavour, and your videos capture this. I have used tablecloths for curtains, as the patterns can be perfect, but I never thought of making a skirt! Thank you!!!
I loved the green/white tea set - I would have purchased that as well. Also, the pictures were very nice and what you did with the tablecloth - CLEVER...
Hi Melissa, Thank You for sharing another Wonderful video with us. You Are So Creative, and your skirt is Absolutely Adorable! 🥰 Thank You again for the Wonderful video, I Always look forward to your videos. By the way, you found some Lovely items, my favorite is your Sweet little green and white tea set. Lord willing, until next time. 🙏🏾 Love In Christ, Paula
I would use the white wooden piece as a lantern with either a battery operated safe candle or a real candle with a glass hurricane cover. Definitely can see it at Christmas with evergreens and candle. Very nice😊
Lol - when you first looked at the blue print table cloth at the store, I thought it was a skirt. I thought what a cute skirt and then you said it was a tablecloth and I thought, well, okay, it will make for a pretty table cloth. Great choice into making it into a skirt! lol! I can't imagine what you are going to use that white wooden ??? for. I can only think to hang a boston fern in it. Love your home! And your baby is sooo cute!
Some pretty high prices there! I’m sure Homegoods would have the same style of basket at a comparable price. That’s kind of disappointing since many people thrift as they are on a tight budget & also seniors on a fixed income. That will be me too. When I retire, my shopping trips will be few & far between. The cute 2 peg shelf was adorable! I’d hang 2 tea towels on it.
So amazing! Your selections and how you used each item inspired me. Our tastes are so similar! Wonderful use of the beautiful tablecloth. Your tips will help me when I go thrifting.🪴

Loved everything! When I saw the wooden piece, I immediately thought..oh I would have that in my garden!💗🌸
Thanks, Tracey! It really does look like a garden piece, doesn't it? I'm sure it would rot though, so maybe the porch. :-)

Thanks, Candace! I really liked the other picture too but it was smaller and wouldn't have fit the space as well. I need more walls I guess, haha! :-)

That sounds lovely! It's such a fun and exciting process to see what pieces come our way and to mix them all together in our homes. :-)
I love the tea set for one and the picture. 💕 ~ Janet 😘
Thank you, Janet! :-)
Wow Melissa! I've never seen half that type of stuff at any of the (many) thrift stores available to me... How incredible!! So happy for you 🙂🙏
Thank you, Anna! I'm happy you could 'come along!' :-)
Homemaking is an artistic endeavour, and your videos capture this. I have used tablecloths for curtains, as the patterns can be perfect, but I never thought of making a skirt! Thank you!!!

I know, the prices have become rather ridiculous! I suppose it goes right along with the rise in price of everything these days. So frustrating!
❤
Beautiful skirt
Thank you, Terri! :-)

Prices in the US are much higher than in canada
