So this works if they stand up instantly, but if they roll or do wake up attack it does not. However seems to beat all the wake up options.

Is oki. The opponent has no option to evade this. He can only guess

How did you switch stance from skyrocket to do backlash so fast? It takes me way too long and they drop to the ground before i can do it 8/10 😢
Practise dash -> switch -> backlash. With enough reps you’ll learn the timing. Start slow, then gradually increase speed. You can also bind 3+4 to a button on pad (L1) for more consistency.
Are you doing jsfr? Or just sky rocket.

@kingatowning that would be why. Its still possible with the sky rocket, but harder.
Jfsr is just frames. So you input the '4' at the same time that you would do the d+f. You get the blue spark. It gives mor damage, is safe on block and is the name of the game with 50/50 with hwo. As its 16 frames, and your d3,4 is 17 frames.
Have you found out how we get blue sparks on the tilde~ moves? My inputs are 3 frames difference and i still dont get blue sparks
my guess is that you input the move the frame you are able to act in Left/Right Flamingo stance? kind of like how you hit 4 the frame you go down for a justframe skyrocket
Try to get a clean 3~4, and not 3,3+4,4. 3 then 4 without pressing them at the same time, im still figuring that out too 🤔
Clean 1 frame inputs
it has to be a clean input 3~4 both 1 frame each. No spaces in between, no 3,3+4,4 inputs no nothing.
For 3~4, it has to be a 1 frame input with zero gap between them. The number beside your 3 input has to be 1 or it won't be a blue spark.
However for (i think) left flamingo, the 4~3 works differently. It seems to depend more on when you input it, and not necessarily how strict your input is. So it doesn't have to be 1 frame inputs, but you have to do it pretty early into the stance, like exactly as the stance transition is done is when you input 4~3.
You can also knowledge-check your opponent, doing the big boy combo and finishing it with up3, 3 - 2: If your opponent doesn't know or doesn't hold back to instantly get up.... Well, it's gonna be ugly.... 😁

@@ZiggyXXI If you take your opponent to the wall and If you do Hwoarang's new move: left flamingo 3 - 2, and If you do It just about your opponent Is about to touch the floor, the second hit Is going to hit grounded and it's gonna pancake flip the opponent: You can get up fast by holding back, but most people try to get up tech-rolling to get up fast, but tech-rolling doesn't work when you're face-down/head-first.
If your opponent doesn't known this they will try to get up tech-rolling, which is not going to work, and that will give you time to do the set-up shown in the video.

Your opponent can stand up in many different ways, you gotta mix em up on wake up sometimes you know
@@basuka93Yes that's why I was wondering if there was a realistic scenario where the opponent would be forced to get up with "u", to lead to this setup. Eg, is standing up with "u" any better than techrolling in this situation for the defender?

@@mosesTTD Im warrior rank and I legit dont know any good combos once i get a knockup, I just spam 4 4 4 4 into random stuff, I block all the time and just punish hard aggro with D34 into random button presses and I most of the time win. dont even know the basic wall combo

Not trying to sound rude or anything, but I don't really think anyone watching a combo guide or a tech guide for a character they play, would really need the inputs shown unless it's for a microdash timing or something extremely specific.
if u need input guides, you are not ready for your character at all.
