My name is Louise and I am documenting my move from the UK to Canada! Myself and my boyfriend Jake moved to Canada on 26th December 2019 on a 2-year working holiday visa. We moved to Ontario near Niagara Falls and we are loving every minute! In 2021 we gained permanent residency to live in Canada for good. My father and his three older brothers and their mother used to live in Weedville elk county Pennsylvania on your map. You’ll see the road 555 and Wiedeville is right there. They have family in Saint Mary’s also and my father and his brothers and their mother were born in Niagara Falls, New York and they also have family in Niagara Falls, Canada and Crystal Beach Canada, we live in New Jersey ❤😊👍
Also, my father and his brothers always talked about the elk, especially at night. It’s very eerie when they call further mates but very beautiful and Weedville. I’ve been there several times. We plan on going back again, especially to Punxsutawney Pennsylvania in Jefferson county. We have lots of family out there too. It’s known for groundhog Phil and Groundhog Day February 2 every year.

That's funny Louise. I remember when Jake would get frustrated and have you order at the drive ins because people would have trouble with his Birmingham accent. Now he has old ladies flirting with him because he sounds exotic.....lol

I've been in Canada 50 years and down in the US, they still can't understand my Welsh accent. On a recent trip down there , I was accused of being Australian, Irish and Scottish, by different people , all on the same day! I'm pretty sure you don't an ESTA if you are crossing by land, or by a ferry. You do if on a cruise ship though!
