Most likely the train had an EP20 locomotive with 3 bogies all axles powered. Usually in the US we have either diesel electric GP 40PH or ACS 64 which basically an adapted European Vectron produced by Siemens. With two bogies under power. For train cars it’s typically Nippon Sharyo cars often with two decks.

Omsk is the sunniest city in the whole Russia, after Magadan which is too windy to consider
The next video we made here is touring Omsk.
Congratulations! Live long and happy life together loving each other! 🎉🎉🎉
Yes! Thank you!
Love watching you wonderful family! Happy anniversary! May God bless you all 🙏
Thank you so much!
This rolled sausage is called купаты. It’s made of pork. You were born in Tallahassee Florida! Wow. I just visited Gainesville for river tubing…
Oh no way! I have been tubing in Florida many times. I probably was where you were.
@@expatamerican3234 I do this like every year over last 25 years. It’s River Rise Preserve State Park.
@@BGtravels that is about when I stopped so I’m not sure but we drove like an hour from Tallahassee.
❤❤❤. Happy 11th anniversary 💖. With love 💘 and respect from Mozambique 🇲🇿.
Thanks so much!
Dear Mr Rose, wishing a very very happy and a great Eleventh Wedding Anniversary. Have a great time.
Thank you very much!
Once I spend a night on that island on 20:53, It was 7 years ago :)
Statue on the EKB station named "varezhka"
Thanks for the details.
Thanks so much! And for noticing.😉
38 hours is nothing compared with 3 full days on a train in a common carriage when going to Crimea. I like traveling by train.
Yes there are certainly even longer distances.
Omsk! I thought so! 😅 I've never been to Omsk, it would be interesting to watch your next video about it 😊👍
Coming soon!
Have I already mentioned that many Russian songs contain the rhythm and mood of a railway trip? I said it. Here is a list of a few such songs, you may confirm it:
- Vladimir Kuzmin - I will never forget you (or Siberian frosts,
- Victor Tsoi & The Kino - Knock (of wheels,
- VIA Plamya - I'll get off at the distant station
- Sector Gaza - Demobilisation (Демобилизация)
- Leonid Agutin - The Border (Граница)
etc...
those who know more can continue this list )))
Very interesting.
You are in the heart of Syberia)
Not yet. Omsk is far from this status.
So where am I?
@@zed007 oh sorry I thought it's in a center of Syberia
@@expatamerican3234 You're just touching a brink of Siberia's Universe! )))
@@zed007 I heard it is big.
🤣 Yes I agree. It was a funny moment for us.
Wow! Very cool. Thanks
Congrats on your anniversary! It’s awesome.
Thanks so much!
you need to make a stop in Novosibirsk and come to us in Gorny Altai. If you decide to come, I will help you with the arrangement. I'll meet you.

ок
Congrats with aniversary!
Thanks so much!
The long distance russian train is a place to step aside from your problems, to relax, to meditate watching through the window, to chat with the other passengers, to read the books, to eat and sleep😁
Very nice
Svetlana is sweet especially putting up with your humour Joseph, lol.
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks
You all look so tired! But what an adventure.
Yes. It is authentic
Happy Anniversary Svetlana and Joe!
Thanks so much!
It sounded like Svetlana said, Expert American 😳👍🧐
🤣🤣Funny
Most likely the train had an EP20 locomotive with 3 bogies all axles powered. Usually in the US we have either diesel electric GP 40PH or ACS 64 which basically an adapted European Vectron produced by Siemens. With two bogies under power. For train cars it’s typically Nippon Sharyo cars often with two decks.
Thanks so much for the specs.
Cheese and wine, salad yummy. Enjoy your anniversary, Salmon and chips is a little British dish. Fish and chips, the fish is cod or a cheaper haddock fryed with a beer batter.
Thank you for such interesting videos! I tend to visit Russia due to them.
It is not so difficult from Belarus😅
You can do it!
11:41 cool DC character figure lineup you got the flash she got Superman you got bane you have some storm troopers.
🤣 Yes. We have many we brought with us. Some are from my childhood. They just finished Superman the Animated Series today.
@@expatamerican3234 yes those storm troopers look the older kenner figure
@@gate7clamp yes. Those are some of the old ones. 40 year old toys!
Joe how was the shower water pressure? Was it scary or dangerous 😀👍?Happy anniversary love birds❤️
Good question. It was understandably and acceptably weak. You press a button every minute to keep the water on.
Thanks so much!
Wow, my maximum was 22 hours)
It is an intense amount of time.
Joe, you need more low cut filter on the 🎤 to remove train 🚊 distortion.
Thanks but I do not know what that is.
@@expatamerican3234 @NOlimitsON can explain this better because he knows what is available. Maybe a switch on your 🎤 (lo cut or voice/music) or in your editing software a low pass filter to remove low frequency distortion from train motor/wheels/wind. For good sound use it only when needed. It’s difficult to explain short for this Dutch alien. I like your videos, Russia 🇷🇺 is a great and save place.
Thanks for sharing. I saw the MuMu on the Moscow City Walk closed.🥲
In Omsk?
