Good, now the Grayl will slide easily into my bag.
Per their FB post, it will be available on August 15th. 👍
Can't find it on the website
About 3-4 days ago in video about this system Dave said it’d be on site in a couple weeks. Can’t wait
But not as good when Dave started a fire with his beard. Best commercial ever
Legit kit!
THANKS PATHFINDER! I know a lot of effort went into this crafty design! Amazing result. Looking forward very much-ready to preorder.
Thanks for sharing. Recently, I bought the Grayl Geopress and I'm really happy with it! Easy handling and clean water ... just perfect! :)
Yeah, that's on my to get list from you guys!!!
Pretty good trailer.
Wow, Josh in one of your vids. Long time since I have seen that. Good vid , thanks Josh.
It's Alex Wander - (@alexwander) you should check him out on instagram as well. Very creative, excellent visual content.
I have the new nesting cup for the grayl. It is much more robust than some of the others. I really really wish they would do one of these in titanium
It's a pretty straightforward video guys. It's just a nesting cup for the grayl, says it in the title. Anyway great video 👍
I neeeeeed one of these. Will I be able to get one in the UK??
This ad was confusing. I’ll assuming they were trying to advertised the cloth filter.
Richard knocked this out of the park ! It was very cool. I already have the pathfinder Milbank bag, got it some time back. I just need this 27oz nesting cup and then to drill 2 holes in it so we can use the fish mouth openers with it over a fire .
Oh , was this the abandoned cabin in some of Shawn Kelly's videos ?
Finally....!!!!.....
Do you know when the next shipment comes in?
Need a link to it.
Been looking forward to this product since it was mentioned earlier this year. I have used my Grayl for two years while traveling internationally without a dedicated nesting cup. SRO just fixed a real world issue for me. Thanks guys I can continue to confuse TSA and foreign customs officers!
If I'm using the grayl as an everyday water bottle because let's face it tap water is just as suspect as water in the wild, will I get more than the advertised presses or just the same
Any idea when these will be back in stock? Can’t find them anywhere.
I recently purchased the grayl geo press and was really let down to see that with the zero water tester tap water tested exactly the same straight from the tap as it did after putting it through the geopress... Then with the ionizer test where you put 2 electrodes in the water it didn't do any better than the tap water... The zero water filter by contrast did very well. I searched the UA-cam for similar test and apparently no one is doing this.
Is that the gray bearded green beret?
No it's not. It's Alex Wander. Should check out his socials. Super talented photographer and videographer.
Is there a source for a molle compatible pouch for the filter and cup?
Please fix the link to your website. Thanks
i cant tell with the cup, but does it have the holes to use the bottle hanger like all the other cups have? if not, that would be a heck of an oversight in design. though fouling a water bottle like was done makes no sense to me.
This video was way too brief. The cuts were so short I had to freeze it to even see that there was a momentary shot of the Grayl nesting in something. The scenario was also a bit confusing. For some reason, the guy chooses to foul his water bottle with the muddy water (maybe he was fleeing pursuers and couldn't stop to prefilter the water at the stream?). Later he uses the cup's bag as a Millbank bag to prefilter the water into the cup and then presses the surprisingly clear result through the Grayl. There was no shot of the Grayl in the "mug" in the bag in the pack's bottle holder, so maybe they all fit or maybe they don't.
The white bag is designed as a millbank bag... not just the cups bag. Dave did a video on this the other day
Thanks for the feedback. Just a teaser video. The "cup bag" is a millbank bag to filter large particles therefore extending the life of your grayl filter. If you've ever used a millbank bag you wouldn't be so so surprised at the fairly clear result. Thanks.
uh oh. his stainless steel bottle has been fouled with muddy creek water. better just throw it away to be safe. 😂😂😂
When will this be on the site?
right now August 15 is the target. We will post additional info if things change.
As others noted also the whole process is borked. Why would you prefilter water that could be contaminated with bacteria or protozoa into one container only to swap to another and then to a third to finally drink it. You have contaminated 2 containers before you actually make the water safe. This video would have made so much more sense using a "dirty bag" whose only purpose is to carry dirty water (like a CNOC) but since everything had to be SRO branded you now have two containers that need to be disinfected to get 24oz of drinkable water.
A Millbank bag is an excellent option for filtering large particles from water sources. In this quick clip the option for water is a very milky, nasty, sandy, muddy option. A Millbank bag is a great option to filter large particles first, before running water through your grayl. The cup is used as a catch since it's not out of the realm of possibility that your grayl may already have filtered water in it. The cup can also be placed over open flame and the water boiled as an additional option for dissinfection, again, extending the life of your filter if the scenario of needing to preserve resources presents itself. Thank you for your feedback.
The whole process shown seems backwards and contaminates everything except the filtered Grayl internals.
Especially the bag dripping into the stainless, just put the Grayl under the bag instead.
Normally love this guy but that was too dizzying.
Great piecing just done with clips that were way too short.
Don’t need to get the spins.
More focus on product and environment than film skills please brother.
I’ve always been impressed by your videography but let’s keep it about the product kindly.
Can’t wait for this set. Great partnering.
Be well all,
Craig
Yea I'll be buying that ASAP. Thanks Dave/Pathfinder Team!
