- The BEST 💯 GREEK CABBAGE SALAD Ever- Politiki Salata with secret ingredient
Politiki Salata, also known as Greek Coleslaw, is a delicious and crunchy salad made with shredded cabbage, carrots, celery, and a tangy lemon vinaigrette. It's the perfect side dish for grilled meats, fish, or even enjoyed on its own for a light lunch.
You can adjust the amount of lemon juice and vinegar to your taste preference.
Want to add some protein? Try tossing in cooked chicken or shrimp.
This salad is best served chilled, so make it ahead of time for a quick and easy side dish.

INGREDIENTS:
- 500-800 g of white cabbage
- 300-400 g of red cabbage
- 1 celery root about 300 g
- 3-4 carrots
-2 tsp of salt
- juice from 1 lemon
- parsley
- pickled red peppers or grilled peppers
For the dressing
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 30 ml of white vinegar
- some pepper
- 60 ml of olive oil

I didn't know that you can eat raw celery root. I buy in local Polish store a jar of Celery Salad in brine, this is chopped celery in water, salt, sugar and citric acid.😊
