    What a good teacher! A nautique boat pulled up to my neighbors dock for possible purchase and I was like, what is that?? Never even new this sport existed! It looks like magic riding behind a boat with no rope. AWESOME great instruction, I think I could do it

    Great video. Tiga 20v 10.3 is my sweet spot. Show’d this to my daughter(age 12) volleyball player... not only does she now want to go boating more... she is having me text her friend’s this video to convince them into going out with us. Thanks. Subscribed and watched the commercial.

    CANNOT wait to get up!! Just went out w my bro & sis for the first time. We all had no clue what we were doing. I almost got up but your vid shows me what I did wrong. Your tips are so helpful! Thank you!! Can't wait to try again in a week. Any tips for the driver? Take off speed, etc?

      Hi Tiffany! So glad it help you. We can't wait to get some pictures of you ripping it on the wave! Insta: @halflifet.5.
      Speed -- 11.2
      Gentle take off always works best. Steady pressure accelerating from zero to 11.2mph -- watch the ride and adjust as they come out of the water. We do Zoom lessons as well if you're interested just shoot us an email at halflifet.5@gmail.com

    2:50 what is a "swim sep?" (I'm sure I misspelled the phrase)

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  Рік тому +1

      Swim Step -- the back swim step on the boat.

    Great explanation skills! How fast do you typically drive your boat?

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  5 років тому +3

      Hey Jacob -- Typically 11.2 in the Mastercraft. 10.5 in the Malibu Wakesetter. Anywhere ~9.5-11.5Mph depending upon the boat.

      HALF-LIFE thank you! I cannot for the life of me stay in the sweet spot in our boat at 10.0-10.8.

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  5 років тому +2

      What type of boat is it? Can you point us to any video clips of the wave? Have you tried any additional ballast?

    • @jacobduncan5319
      @jacobduncan5319 5 років тому +1

      HALF-LIFE 2004 Nautique 210.

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  5 років тому +1

      Nice. That's a wake board (as opposed to surf) optimized boat correct? Do you have on board ballasts? You're going to need additional ballast for that boat to stand up the wave for wake surfing.....either that or get a Wake Foil which will work great on the second wave. Checkout our video on how to set up a wakesurf boat - ua-cam.com/video/KF9FoG5MaMM/v-deo.html. Same will apply to your Nautique. If you can't create a big enough pocket, think about getting a bigger board (volume, maybe length as well).

    Pouvez vous conseiller une taille de planche pour débuter? Merci sinon super vidéo

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  5 років тому +1

      La taille dépend vraiment de votre poids d'abord, puis de votre capacité. Avez-vous déjà fait du surf? Quel est votre poids approximatif? Apologies if my French is off - I hope it's close. The ideal size to start on depends upon your weight. In general, longer boards are easier to learn on than shorter because they usually have more volume. The Rusty Snaggletooth is a good option. What is your approximate weight? What is your location and are you aware of which wake surf board brands are available in your region? Please let us know and we'll try to make a specific recommendation.

    what a horrible wake on that boat -- yikes

    • @HALFLIFEVIDEO
      @HALFLIFEVIDEO  3 роки тому +1

      This boat actually kicks a good wake. There were very rough conditions on that day. Mastercraft X23. That said -- if you got a killer wave - we'd love to ride it!
      Cheers,
      Tim
