I'm curious how many people today would enjoy these old series???
I’m 35 an absolutely love this show. I also like M*A*S*H (rather obsessed with it 😂), bewitched, I dream of Jeannie I could go on.
Born in 1972, watching them in 2023! It's just one of the familiar things I can put on in the background while I'm doing housework. And every so often I will actually sit and watch
🙋🏻♀️ ❤
Me🤗❤️
I love watching these. 😍
This was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up. I am so glad that I get to watch them again! Thank you so much for sharing these timeless classics! This generation doesn't know what good television is like! These shows in this era were the BEST!!!❤❤❤
30:16 This was the scene that cemented Herve's acting chops and placed him in our hearts forever. Reportedly Ricardo Montalban demanded that Herve have this scene and wrote it himself. He knew the giant potential that lay unleashed in his tiny co-star. Ricardo fought for Herve in spite of the fact that he was on the verge of being fired for his constant womanizing on the set, not bathing regularly, wearing hippie clothes, and carrying a gun around.
I still don’t understand why all these old shows aren’t streaming somewhere
They are
Tv land or Pluto TV app
I was so impressed with this episode years ago and just as touched watching it again now. Lisa Hartman did a fantastic job!
Wow lisa Hartman was gorgeous 😍
Thanks for posting this great episode!
The dancer was lovely
So sad for Franklin and his loss
Glad little girl had her father
This was a good movie. I haven't seen most of Fantasy Island movies, this is great watching them for the first time. Thank You for the upload.
I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. They just don't make good tv like this any more. We miss that. These are lost gems. Now classics.😊
As beautiful as love is and can be, it may be so painful when not corresponded; yet, it is great to love and learn to grow in love. Beautiful episode!
Sometimes we learn about love by hating. We go from one extreme to the other in our lessons.
John Saxon also in this episode. RIP the legend
Was also proficient in martial art.
Nicole Eggert (“Baywatch”) is playing Amy Watkins.
This was one my fav shows growing up. Brings back sweet memories me and my mom. Rewatching these makes me realize how much more beautiful women were on tv then without being sexed up.
natural beauty and inner warmth...women have been changed a lot I am afraid
Natural beauty. Not everyone trying to look exactly like each other. Especially in hollyweird .
Every Saturday night after love boat❤
Fantasy Island was always breaking stereotypes. In this episode they had the male dance choreographer be straight, when the predominant portrayal in TV and movies was one where they were flamboyant and oversexed.
Great show. Plots thin but found learning in the episodes. Decent acting. I felt good after watching them and able to do some self reflecting.
46:33 Without even one word, Nita stole and owned that scene
I guess it was her last apparence on TV. Afterwards, Never Heard anything morre about her.
Anita Bosse She was on another show called Upbeat Aesop and you can find it here on UA-cam :) Pop was on UA too but on the pilot. That episode is hard to find 😕
@@florants6214 Great Many Tks, but this is 1980 and Fantasy Island is 1981
Yeah, that is so true! She should have been featured in a complete episode.
i’m related to Nita !! :)
Ty for uploading this wonderful series! 🌴🍹
I love this episode, Tattoo, the stories are so heartwarming....Ricardo Montalban is a genius!
Awesome Show!
I used to watch The Mouseketeers way back when I was a kid. I realize later on in life that not all Mouseketeers can be successful with their Acting Careers. I watched the Facts of Life. Only two that I recognized.
I like the old and newer ones
5:00 That is so sad. The guy is with his daughter on vacation and ignoring her because he so transfixed on gambling!
Movie theory: Is John Saxon character in this episode the same guy who was to join Bruce Lee in ''Enter The Dragon'' tournament? Both were gamblers 🤔
Season 4 Episode 16 Chorus Girl / Surrogate Father
I paint homes with the detail of two - three colors on exterior , which looks like
THE FANTASY ISLAND , IN MIND * HISTORICAL PRESERVATION
Strange. When Mr Roarke welcomes his guests with a glass in hand after they get off the boat it sounds like he says - My dear guests I am Sir Roarke
He sure did!
Was it her last TV apparence? Nothing more came after it.
I love Mr Roark and Tatoo.
I am not deaf but have worked in deaf ministry. oh, there is so much wrong with this episode in retrospect. I loved the series at the time but in rewatching I see many plot holes that went over my teenage head.
The dad was in s01e02!
Is this highest resolution version that one could find online ? it looks so blurry it's nearly unwatchable Was it always like this?
Personally, I'm happy to even find old episodes, no matter the quality. I suppose you can always buy the Season 4 DVD set if you need the best quality.
Why do people complain about something they aren't *paying* for? Ridiculous.
@wonderrob, So sad, it comes in clear and perfect here.
47:06, leaves with a new girlfriend half his age
