okay boys and squirrels, because my brainworm about this song won't be quiet I'm going to try to (briefly) summarize the events before, during, and after this song, just for the sake of us english speakers and new viewers who may want to dip their toes into the evillius chronicles. Massive disclaimer: I'm an english-speaker only, and most of my information comes from what I've interpreted and what I've read on both the Evillius chronicles wiki and the TVtropes page, so there may be bits I miss. Directly before: Irina Clockworker and three other women of strong magical power are chosen as MA candidates and quickly begin fighting over who will become the Mem Aleph (Basically the ruler of the country). Irina kills the other three candidates and tries to cover them up as suicides, including her own future sister-in-law Elluka Clockworker, and is crowned the Mem Aleph. According to some sources I've found she apparently rules for a time before the cataclysm. During: Looking for a way to revive his dead fiancee, Kiril Clockworker is urged towards a device called Sin by the voices of the Barisol Twins whose spirits have been trapped in the device for years. When Elluka's body is placed inside the device is activated and the Twins attempt to transfer their consciousness into a dragon called Levia-Behemo that they'd created, but he destroyed Sin, which caused a chain reaction that nuked the entire kingdom, killing everyone but Irina, Seth, and Kiril and fatally wounding Irina. The Twins consciousness are reincarnated into Elluka's dead body with Levia in control, but with no memories of who they were before. they go on to adventure for years as Elluka Clockworker in search of the Seven Sin containers. Meanwhile, what's actually important to this song specifically, the mortally wounded Irina is approached by Seth who performs a Re-Birthday (I think an improper version since it's supposed to be performed by irregular twins) to transfer her into the body of a stuffed red cat doll. Irina (Who I believe is consumed by HERs) swears to fill the world with evil and get revenge on those she believes took everything away from her (Elluka primarily I believe). The Seven butterflies in the video are apparently seven human spirits who go on to become the demons of the seven sins, and influence people into performing heinous acts for centuries afterwards) After: The aforementioned dragon's power apparently finds it's way to the Irregular twins Hansel and Gretal (Apparently before the events of abandonment on a moonlit night) and they go on to kill their foster parents Adam and Eve Moonlit. They then split Eve's burnt body (I'm still not entirely sure how) into the vessels of sin which are scattered around the world and become inhabited by the demons of sin who manipulate people throughout history to cause chaos. Elluka and Irina both begin searching for the vessels of sin (which apparently repel each other) which turns into a centuries-long game of cat and mouse, Kiril loses his mind and becomes a crazy old man creating black boxes (not sure if the same as ones seen throughout the story) and Seth becomes the demon of Wrath at some point in time. God I'm too long-winded sometimes. If anyone wants to slim this down or TL:DR it have fun.
