I'm not surprised at what he's saying, I'm surprised to hear someone speak it so plainly. My only quibble is that he says that Jesus told his disciples to teach the nations everything he commanded them. What it actually says is, "...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Which falls in line with earlier sermons about being a doer of the word, not just a hearer of the word. We're not just to teach people what Jesus said, but to teach them to OBEY what Jesus commanded. Most churches don't spend enough time going through that list.
That’s such a huge problem with western churches. There’s a ton of talk about spreading the Good News but absolutely nothing about obedience. Have you read/listened to John Bevere? Lol

But for real tho, the Holy Spirit put it in me a few months ago to read 1 Corinthians as my very first deep dive. That book changed my whole life
