When Polyphia was first finding their sound, they got alot of criticism/hate for the electronic/trap/new sound they were delivering. They titled this album and song accordingly, owning the `most hated` title. Embracing the bad boy villain role if you will.
They used to be more of a shred band too if you go back to the days of "renneisance" and "inspire" so alot of fans gave them shit for parting ways with their origional sound. I love what they have become and tim and scott are guitar idols of mine. I hope they never stop evolving this sound.
Speaking of seeing them live, I have a short story. I only discovered these guys about three/four weeks ago. I've been addicted since and one day I was like, "ya know, I wonder if they have any merch to buy." So I checked out their official page and found they're touring right now! The only venue in the entire US that wasn't sold out was Forth Worth, Texas. So, a buddy of mine and I got tickets and are going to see them live on September 2nd! I'm so friggin excited! I haven't been this stoked for a concert since Slayer back in 2001! Definitely worth a 12 hour drive!

Last recording I saw I believe their setlist has songs from so many different albums is must be insane to hear all of them at once! They also started preforming sober now so their lives sound even cleaner 🤣
Ell well both did about the same thing... I heard them for the first time in 2020 and was blown away... Then forgot about them during covid... Fast forward to about 4 weeks ago I cam across them again and have went all in on them... Got playing god vip tickets for the October show... But I went way way farther in... I have purched the tod10n to get signed and have decided that I'm gonna learn to play guitar.... So just finding polyphia again has cost me around 2500$ between the tickets... Hotel room and the guitar and amp... Plus case and stand.

Bro they named the albumn 'most hated' because holy crap they were getting flamed back then when they transitioned from shred guitar to kinda guitar infused with EDM genre. You gotta check out James franco, crush or any song titled 5 years ago by them to see how much this band change their sound within a decade.
Saucy, Nasty, and a song from Unprocessed should go up either Sunday or Monday. Just finished editing my first reaction to Chon. That should be up in about 20 minutes.
I believe tim was in an interview where he discussed the title, I think he said it was based on a trend in the rap community of just being generally unlikable for popularity. He specifically pointed out Tekashi 6ix 9ine.
Also tim henson is a professional graphic designer on top of being a guitar god. I think he does the designs for album art and the concept art fot the most hated videos
I haven't done any film/show trailers yet. I am not against that idea though. I need to get caught up on my current requests before I try film trailers. Thanks for the comment and recommendation. I will add it to my request list but I can't promise a time/date on when I can get to it. ❤
