Wilshere has so much potential to be one of the best, he dribble past players so naturally, the injury definitely halted his development, but he has to be more mature and not be provoked easily or rush into tackles. One thing i like about his aggressiveness is that he seems to be the only one who will stand up against the opposition when arsenal players got roughed up. Since vieira left, arsenal has been lacking that sort of fighter, leader who will square up against any player if their teammate is being roughed up.
Prefer watching chamberlain run, wilshere holds on to the ball to long if im being hyper critical, wilshere is at his best when he is doing give and goes bursting forward, thats how he unlocks teams the most effectively like the Norwich goal, wilshere has an amazing ability to pass and burst at the same time
His issue these days is that teams combat this by persistently fouling him. They'll rotate the players doing the fouling though, so they avoid cards. If Jack had more protection from referees I feel like he'd be more influential.
People don't understand how important jack wilshere is to the team. Them quick one twos and driving runs from midfield are really effective and his is missed right now. so annoying when he's injured. if he was fit for the season for arsenal..Wow
repect culaan. top video. glad we have adapted a new system around him, he deserves to play in his favoured position, even at the expense of ozil who doesnt seem to care so... i just think we need better players and more depth for the system, but 433 is spot on
Jack should have stuck with #19 and taken it at a later date like Messi (kind of) did. At least use it as a stepping stone. I remember that first season so vividly. He was boss and a half but I suspect a lot of that is due to teams having not scouted him and players not knowing what to expect from a new talent that came from OUR great club.
Seems to me that Wilshere, before his injury has a slightly different gait and way of moving than now after his injury? When i say injury i mean the first initial one at the Emirates cup
that decision will sort itself out. the way wilshere plays, won't be long before he's sidelined again, sadly. in fact, he picked up a knock against dortmund.
Ozil? Your joking. Its Ramsey & Wilshere battling for a spot in the team. Wenger rates Ozil highly which is why he forces him on the wing to try & incorporate all his #10's & Ozil when in the hole behind the striker is unrivaled tbh. Ramsey has scored 2 goals this season but has had some iffy performances, Wilshere has started stronger being he has a point to prove to many of his critics. Either way you view it, its a nice problem to have, we've not been used to having quality on our bench dare I say since the 2004/5 season. We're a solid CDM, CB & possibily a LB away from a strong title chasing side.
Its a hard decision too make but i personally think his bursts from midfield are probably more his prominent trait, although you're right, his passing is class also.
1 year later I came back to this video and I thought "I bet some annoying people are gonna bitch about the video not being about his amazing passing". Then I scrolled down the comments and found mine haha. I didn't bitch about it and I came friendly but that's still pretty funny. Now I think it shouldn't be about his passing because the problem is that so much of Arsenal player's best traits are their passing so it would suck to have only videos about passing.
I think previously he used to get the ball quicker out of his feet when he would get it in his own half and I feel like he overdoes it with the dribbling sometimes and ends up giving it away
seeing jack get into space to dribble is one of the most exciting things to watch, the excitement never gets old
But seeing jack run into a brick wall is possibly one of the most frustrating things.
until he gets hacked to shit by like six defenders, or runs into about six defenders, and fucks his ankle up to rule him out for about 5 years

I can watch his dribbles all day
seeing him bully nasri just lit up my day! 4:03
Corect me if i'm wrong but i see a resemblance between iniesta's style of play and wilshere's.

Qualiteee, great to have him back soon
best part of the video was not jack dribbling, but making na$ri his bitch with a dirty mugg off haha
Nikhil Judge 4:04 fucks nasri with shoulder tackle
very talented player but unfortunately gets injured alot. hope he makes a comeback. it would be sad to see him have to quit the game due to injuries.
Favourite part is 3:47 Karagounis struggling to get back, urging his teammates to track back. What a battler he was haha
His issue these days is that teams combat this by persistently fouling him. They'll rotate the players doing the fouling though, so they avoid cards.

WELCOME TO FENERBAHCE
Eyegasm
If only he didn't have injury trouble, what a player he could've been by now, and he's already a damn gem of a player.
Love this! Do you think you could do like a 30min comp of Wilshere? I'd sit all day re-watching it xD
Great videos, keep it up!

He would have been one of the best cm in the world by now if it wasn't for injuries. Sad to see :( // United Fan
He is going to be our Iniesta!
nice ending
On his day Wilshere is absolute class just look at the Man City game... He's gonna have a good season (if he stays injury free) Mark my words!

you are the beast jack love you 💪💪💪💪

Can you please do a Walcott or Oxlade-Chamberlain comp please! Would love that! Great vid on Jack as well COYG!
Once Walcott is back,Wenger will have a tough decision to take.He has to choose between Özil and Wilshere.
that decision will sort itself out. the way wilshere plays, won't be long before he's sidelined again, sadly. in fact, he picked up a knock against dortmund.
5Waya are you kidding? he was our best player these last two to three games. He was absolutely massive during the City game
i wasn't saying he played poorly. i meant he's bound to get injured again
5Waya ah i misread your comment. you're right, he does play a very physical type game

3:59 silly Milner.
Is it just me or did he fall down less when he was younger
whats the song
The Ox next?
I'm not an expert, but, is dribbling really one of the principal trait of Wilshere ? It more seems to be his passing
Its a hard decision too make but i personally think his bursts from midfield are probably more his prominent trait, although you're right, his passing is class also.

JW 19 > JW 10 imo

+Ibrathenoobieone i think he was slightly more agile too when he was younger
It's true bruh.
+Ibrathenoobieone Well, what did you expect? He's been injured every fucking season.
He gained weight and became less agile it seems
Stop eating...
he can be a fantastic player but he just needs to stop off field problems
what is this song?
Jackyboy
Only effective when hes fit. Otherwise he just run into walls. Also lacking pace he cant completely get rid of the defenders
Overrated they said..
