To all the people listening to this and saying it's bad. It's not the upbeat death metal you hear very often today, no. If you notice, this is in 1995. Recording was analog and not digital; so yeah, the quality isn't as perfect as lamb of God or Shitty Slipknot. The vocals seem not so great. He's speaking it with a tone, to reflect on the lyrics...kinda like poetry. I'm not a HUGE fan of the vocals. I like his singing voice alot, but I appreciate the music and lyrics for sure.
Probably their best album if I was forced to pick.. which I'm not, thankfully, so I can enjoy them all!

yeah I checked UARAL band, very good gothic metal.
I much prefer their new stuff, but thats just me. It's not that I don't like this. I listen to lots of stuff like this... which is why I prefer their newer stuff, because it's very different from anything else.

I love Judgement and Alternative 4 albums, but this song, eeeer, good lyrics but cheap clip and poor music. In my humble opinion.

GREAT SONG.... skober1 anathema it's a band, not just a guy, they're british, the cd including this song is "The Silent Enigma" (1995). since then their music has really evolved, but it's still soooo beautiful.. i prefer the way they are now.. ade, na xanarthoun ellada...
the only deference between old and new A is that they are more experienced now... the last album is perfect. WHBWH is an ingeniuos album but the production is deferent. SW made it a bit more like PT albums.
