They have the energy of two characters that have inexplicable but DEEPLY ROOTED on sight beef, and anyone who asks just gets a vague answer. But like three seasons/books later you realize they were married and divorced multiple times, share custody of a kid, and may have broken international laws for each other, only to have an EVEN MORE MYSTERIOUS FALLOUT.

I am aro/ace, I'm still dating someone. Looking for that soulmate thing. We've discussed that I may not love them the same way that they love me and my comfort zone with some of the mushy stuff (cuddling, holding hands etc.) and that intimacy is something that will probably not happen often, but they agreed, and we genuinely enjoy just being in the same room together.
That's definitely not Moon and Monty, but my point is that it's possible as long as both understand the other... Or lack thereof.
