Another tape from the fan sub lot, with another set of premiere episodes of Dragon Ball Z. I do have a lot of other fan sub tapes, but none with commercials (although some are done by infamous groups, like Anime Labs), so unfortunately the episodes skip around a bit and it'll only be this and one more tape before we skip to DB:GT. More food commercials, cereal, three games advertised this time (all Dragon Ball games; Ultimate Battle 22 for PS1, Goku Gekitoden for GB, and Super Goku Den - Kakusei-Hen for the Super Famicom). Most interesting one though is a Sailor Moon eyedrops commercial by Rohto, which I've only seen a different variant of in DB:GT. This specific variant looks lost, which is pretty neat. Hopefully you enjoy the upload.

Dude, I might just have this exact tape, too, if not one very similar! Those Kellogg's, Ultraman and DBZ game commercials showed up on mine too!

aye, that's pretty neat, heheh! cool to know someone else with fan sub tapes. i've actually got one more tape with commercials from DBZ, and two with DB GT. i've also got a massive tape of japanese anime/commercials around February 2003, including Pokemon, Hamtaro, etc. it's just that editing it might take a good minute, and i also wanna upload some of the commercials from that tape separately since some of them look to be not uploaded to YT yet.

@@fattylugia Around 2002 I paid about £250 for the complete DB-GT VCD set, DB and Z were terrible vhs rips with the infamous cussing subs used back then and often had commercials on, they must of just been VHS transfers. They were cheap nasty quality burned cd's that the layer peeled away very quickly but within 2/3 years I had the dvd boxsets anyway the ones that used the Japanese Dragon Box mixed with ok quality HK subs.

I have a VHS tape of it airing on fuji tv the episode was a shock to the universe and the god of destruction cell and the super vegita episode and it has some random line while playing and it has green and pink lines on top
