This is what I consider one of those "perfect thrash songs". Eerie intro, blistering guitar riffs, fast pounding drums, thick bass, sweet vocal melodies, catchy chorus, great mid-section breakdown and solo.
Honestly, the only real letdown are the solos. They don't do the rest of the song justice.
I don't know why I ever put off listening to these guys - probably one of the best thrash bands in the modern day.

Death Angel are as old as the other thrash giants like Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, etc.. They've all been around since the 80s.

Every time Metallica and Megadeth let us down, a band like Death Angel, Testament, or Annihilator steps up and renews my faith in thrash.
Kreator... Fuck! Oh and a newer band called Havok, yeah they got real potential to be a staple in thrash metal.

I just found out Death Angel had a new album out last year today... not only is this song kickass, but the entire album is great! It's a little faster and heavier than their previous stuff, and it's solid start to finish as well. Really epic album!
This song is sic! Killer riffs, heavy and great vocs! Good stuff man!
It doesn't get much better than DA's last two releases.

Man, in the early 90's they put out an album called Act III that blew me away. To me this is their best album since then.

Well I heard of these guys in a guitar world magazine and I know there an older band and what happened to there drummer and stuff but is there any music you guys would recommend for me to listen to that's older from them? I fucking love these instrumentals but I will have to get used to the vocals lol sounds like rage against the machine. But cool!
Drystan Barnett Bro, if there was any album you should buy from Death Angel, get Act III. That album is almost as good as MoP or RiP. It is one of the greatest thrash albums ever created.

Where bands like Metallica have declined over the years, these guys keep it fresh and interesting. Death Angel are fucking awesome! Their last 2 album have been amazing!!!

The Dream Calls For Blood is one of the most exciting metal albums I've heard in a long time! They're one of the few thrash bands that actually got faster and heavier with age. I see a massive increase of fans for this band in the next few years

Martin Kincl nuclear blast and century media in the early 90s was flooded with the swedish movement but when i looked to buy a tape i just looked at the labels and if it was century, nuclear, relapse, roadrunner and earache.

Just saw 'em in Boston last night…. damn tight set! Children of Bodom headlined (and were great), but Death Angel were more diverse, knew how to better work a crowd, and really got people moving- more so than C.O.B.
