I don't know why apple tries desperetly to advertise the mignight color so much. IMO the starlight or silver colors are just better and there is no issue with fingerprints.
I have the M2 Air with 16GB RAM and 1TB drive, and on top of all the incredible functionality it has given me it's absolutely fine for some Apple gaming, if you want to play now and then.. I've played Resident Evil games on it, and they are fantastic. Same with SnowRunner, Baldur's Gate, Tomb Raider, and even some older PC games on Parallels. So I don't want to hear about how you can't game on it - you absolutely can, but with a much more limited library. Also super fun for the emulation game scene.
Would it, the 16 gig ram, 512 storage one, heat up if you just use the apps that come with it? Just web surfing, pages, numbers, notes, reminders? No video editing, photo editing or gaming?
So im looking on air 15' - (1TB ssd , 24 ram) I think this model is enough for base video editing?? I will give my old intel in trade in! so at the and air is good price .
i wouldn't suggest it. when you write more codes and execute them, the machine will have to swap a lot. if you want to code and buying a macbook, get a 16gb otherwise it is money wasted in a way since you cant upgrade the ram later on.
8 GB (not upgrade able) is never a good option for a new computer, especially if that heavy swapping, that will occur, will wear out a none change able SSD. You should at least get the 16 GB or better 24 GB version. I'd rather look for M2 (or even M1) with more ram than M3 with 8 GB.
I picked up the M3 Air (8GB 256GB) last week for web development and it blew my mind how powerful it is. The SSD of m2 is too slow so I didn’t buy the m2. But with this M3 I’m in love.
if you're on an extremely tight budget get the m1 macbook air refurbished, the m2 mba is for everyone and the m3 mba is for people who do not know it's exactly the same as m2
Well, I would disagree that the M2 air is the same as the M3 air. You are getting a chip upgrade, a Wi-Fi upgrade, a speaker and mic upgrade, and new anodization for the midnight color. Plus, let’s not forget the use of two external displays in clamshell mode.
Macbook air buyer does not need 10% faster cpu, 10% faster wifi, 0.05% better mic and speakers and they rarely ever use 1 external display @@sammyjammy6647
@@sammyjammy6647 Plus hardware accelerated ray tracing and a faster ssd in base model. Still m1 and m2 would work perfectly fine for students with light workflows. I'm getting an m3 for my university due to slight heavy workload.
It's been amazing to see your channel's growth over the years!
Thank you my friend! :)

idk why you're bothered so much that you feel the need to comment.

Thanks! Just got the base M3 Air. May I ask what display scaling do you use on your MacBook? The cluttered UI bugs me a bit.
i had a good laugh at 0:23 .. the lack of ports is mind boggling.. i have bin away from buying Apple hardware for a while so now i notice again.
What do you guys think of the new MacBook Air?! :)
How easy are the fingerprints to clean?
@rishabsinghbaran1574 very easy actually!
@@TerrenRule thanks man gonna buy it tomorrow 🫶🏻

absolutely not. those are very lightweight work
I got the M3 with 16gb and 256 SSD. I've only done some light video editing and web browsing but no stutters so far.
hey, what's the backpack at 0:33 ?
Man this is a dope video. Very well done!!
For light unity game developments would the 16gb get thermal throttling?
Great video! Been missing your content! Congrats on your engagement. If you were to put a configuration together what would it be and why?

That stupid notch pisses me off, otherwise I might buy one. I have a 4 year old Macbook Pro with 32gb ram and no notch!
Unlike the iPhones, the MacBook notch makes for wonky screen scaling, with wasted screen space when in full screen mode.
At the 4:30 mark you say the drive performance is "top notch" but then show us benchmarks for a pretty slow drive. Okie dokie.
The speakers are incredible ? They sound worse than my M1, very mono-ish ....
Cool! Thanks for sharing it. ✌️
The One Thing i have Noticed about
MacBook Users is that, they don’t

Is base 8gb ram with 512gb good for beginner user for learning IOS applications like xcode ?

There is literally no point for most people to buy the base model M3 over the base model M2.
Depends. Faster WiFi. Better storage speed. If they were priced the same you’d get the m3 but as they’re not. The m2 is the value proposition

Look forward, there’s a huge point. Probably the M3 will get OS Updates 1 or 2 years longer than M2.
@@ChesterFosterhow is it now? Does it swaps alot?
If you don't like fingerprints, get silver.

A brand new M1 from Walmart is about $50 cheaper than a refurbished M1 from Apple.
amazon has great deals on new m1 and even lower price when refurbished@@time2believe
