This method is different from the first one u did not substitute the taylor series in Fourier series why pls reply

Sir please i don’t get how you differentiate using product rule and got that answer, why is there not square in the denominator part?
Another thing after getting u.v you substituted it as the entire part neglecting the coefficient of u.v

Dear, derivation in Cartesian and cylindrical co-ordinate is two different things. This derivation is of Cylindrical coordinate.

Sir can you please enlighten us why do we need to study these equations in different co-ordinate systems in the first place. How studying heat conduction equation in the cylindrical and speherical help us in the practical world?

Well, you are not going to always design a block heating element, the cylindrical coordinates work for cylinders or anything like a cylinder, while a spherical coordinates works for spheres. You can have a vessel that is cylindrconical in shape, if you want to solve a heat problem for that kind of system, you will not be able to use Cartesian coordinates. We have to know cylindrical and spherical coordinates.
