Season 2 episode 7 I started getting worried for the plot, by the ending the character progression was all over the place and the ending makes no sense because of it, it's the childhood equivalent of pushing your dolls together and "saying you and you are married now" and philos character is a complete mystery by the end, not in a good way, screams cut for time/budgets
Great show, sad that there won't be season 3
- Tourmaline is destined to become evil as a result of the powers received, as announced by Mima (perhaps the villain of next season)
- Philo as the last final lines suggests that we will find out what will become of him and which path he will take
- Vignette marries Tourmaline in the throes of a crisis of responsibility realizing he's always made her suffer, but it's not true love like for Philo.
- Carnival Row is a title too tied to Bourgue and too close to that damn neighborhood, maybe the plot will have to move to Tirnanoc
these and many other unfinished concepts suggest a fake ending.
Maybe we will see a sequel with another title, everyone will say "yes we said the final season is true.... but of carnival row now the sequel which will be called Tirnanoc begins"
it's extremely senseless to end up like this... with so much potential
Nobody believes it
no one wants to believe it...
Really good,could do with more.
I like to think that if it weren’t for the pandemic and the long stretch between seasons, this might have been more of a success. 😢
Regardless though, it was a fantastic journey while it lasted!! ❤
Tragedy that this show got canceled. I enjoyed season 2 but it was very obvious they rushed character arcs and plotlines to wrap things up due to the cancelation. If this show had two more seasons it would have gone down as one of the greats
Ended my prime membership when I heard this got cancelled. Back to using free sites and just paying for adequate anti virus and ad blocker to make them usable.

The show had great potential but was ruined with unrealistic situations, flimsy and predictable "modern" plot lines, and unsympathetic characters. The ending was a disappointment that made little sense.
This show is like the opposite of entertaining; it made me wish several main characters would suddenly die just to put them out of their misery, not a single moment of lasting joy. Husband and I finished Season 2 last night, then we came back here to UA-cam to scrub our eyes/brains free of all this depression with about half an hour of baby goats being silly. I don't get the point of fantasy shows that have to be even more dismal than IRL, no escapism, just sheer torture porn to see how much despair the audience can take. I'm relieved that it's over.
