It bothers me that GM can't be bothered to back Holden, but they have absolutely no issue with sending in Chevrolet.
Coming from an American, it's just wrong what GM has done.

@MV 42 let's face facts. You can't buy either 'as raced' versions of what is run in supercars. There are many different categories of motorsport that you can, however.
@@dinosshed What do you mean by that the cars are not as raced versions. They are based on road cars using origanal lines and using orginal parts, unlike the VF commodore which had the rear doors cut in half and shortened, then the mustang was a messed up looking thing and atleast these look like what is available from the dealership compared to what we have had in the past

@@dinosshed But the reason we are here is that the saftey aspect has gotten so much better with this cars and atleast these are better than say NASCAR or Brazil stock cars as those 2 series have chevy in them but don't even use factory panels and neither does trans am aswell. I've always thought MARCS AUS should of built a Camaro beside the Mustang then gone from there as there cars are way better than what Supercras have produced so far and would've been quicker but I wanna give it a year to let it get figure out

NASCAR's new car has single-lug wheels, but the jack is still manually done by one guy, meaning you can't change both rear wheels at the same time.

Part of the gen3 idea was to go back to the golden days of seeing who can produce the better product, not only off but on the track… evidently ford just isn’t cutting the mustard… maybe instead of a sooky girly protest, they should reevaluate their product and improve
ford can't just sit out a race because they produced a worse package. if there really was an unfairness, don't you think ford would be saying something? as you said, the only people talking about it are fans, mainly ford fans
apparently the problem area is the engine is gutless from 4th to 5th making ford struggle on fast tracks like this

They are silhouette cars which are completely identical apart from the bodywork and engine. The bodywork and engine are supposed to perform identically under "technical parity". If Ford Performance could put their resources into designing the best possible car, there is no question they could do a better job like they did in 2019. That the 5.4L Coyote is detuned by 30hp compared to the same engine in a MARC car defies the notion there is an intention to find out which is the better product.

Boy o boy what a humdinger of a series .The Camaro Cup.Supercars Australia 10/10 for engineering the Mustangs out of the series. It comes as no surprise this was going to happen with the Gen 3 cars given it has been mostly developed by team Red .And its starting to become obvious why its only on Tv late at night with highlights. Nobody's going to be watching this one sided charade.

@@yakul4410 It's a technical parity series. Neither Chevrolet Racing or Ford Performance are permitted to build the best product they can. The front splitter and rear wing are spec now, so Ford Performance are not allowed to design the best possible splitter and wing like they did in 2019 (which far from being credited for doing a good job, was cut up by organisers within mere rounds...). The 5.4L Coyote has an inlet restrictor fitted (obviously not Ford Performance's choice!) and is detuned by 30hp to 600hp, compared to 630hp in the MARC car running the same engine.

Well this is what we had in the earlier days of ATCC Fords Chevys Mazda Holden Nissan you name it it was in the series just be glad they kept the v8s intsead of forcing the ecoboost mustang and 4 banger chev on us
