You should be a DJ on Rajj Patel stream. He makes all type of shows on twitch and has ~30k viewers per stream, at the beginning of his show a dj has opportunity to entertain people and promote his channel but the current dj sucks, but you are really great and underrated. You need more attention!

Even games and shit can help your understanding of music if you don't have the dough to get into a cheap loop setup. I've got basically an entire studio setup in my office, but I still end up spending countless hours in games like Electronauts where I can just fuck around and create weird shit.
If you can buy or already have a loop station, just start playing with layering basic percussion and chord progressions, the more you play with it you'll start to find out what sounds good together. From there, maybe try emulating the styles of other musicians and eventually try to put your own little spin on it where you can. Keep in mind though, the more you branch out and mess with other's work or simply play at random with different progressions, the quicker you'll latch onto those improv skills.
You're going to make a lot that you won't be satisfied with at first, but just stick with it and you'll amaze yourself at what you'll be making in a years time so long as you really spend some time with it.
