Juan Carlo's scene was very short but very natural and powerful acting. The scene where he first saw Joel Torres again at the last scene when JK was looking at the pictures is very moving❤️❤️❤️

i'm from indonesia, and i watched the movie and i love it so much ! the movie make me cry and very touching . i'm wondering, all of the male actors is real filipino or mix filipino? and is it borocay when kid went to the beach with lolo?
The grandfather is Joel Torre, an award winning actor/ producer and has been in the movie industry since he was young. The young “Kid” is a new child actor but he did amazing. The grown up “Kid” is Juan Karlos Labajo, who joined the The Voice Kids edition in the PH. He has a band now called “Juan Karlos” and he is half Filipino, half German. The beach is in Anawangin, Zambales, more like a virgin island and not crowded like Boracay. I also cried, it was an amazing movie.

Philippines has 3 major Islands, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Manila is in Luzon, Boracay is in Visayas. I visited almost all the tourist attractions but not too much in Mindanao for some safety reasons. Do some research before planning to visit Mindanao or any places there you want to visit. Nonetheless Philippines is a great country esp for tourists. I now live in the USA but the beaches in the Philippines are far better than here.
