Wonderful! I see air brakes on the wings, but I also recall another video from Stefan Langer's channel from a trade show where he said there were no airbrakes in order to save weight. What is the latest specification - air brakes or no air brakes?
Almost perfect. Would be cool to have 3 wheels. Also did you look into laminating solar cells into the wings? Those sunpower C60 cells weight almost nothing and could add some range.
Actually a good idea because 8m2 wings can provide roughly 1,5kW output which is 10% of the engine power. We also shouldn't forget that glider will fly without power most of the time thus range can be increased dramatically.
@@Pali65 add panels to a relatively small wing surface with an already short chord? And can you add panels without degrading the glide performance ? And I already know you can not add panels without degrading the…… affordability. It’s a glider with an already more than adequate power capability. Why not install an internal combustion engine and add drop tanks if you want to ho far under power? 😮
Sergio - Many Ultralights use a Tube for the Tail Boom Support, and many of them are also "Tail Feathers" or "Conventional Landing Gear" much like this, without such primary concerns!
