Big thanks for giving me a shout out! I've been restoring for several years now and it's great to see so much interest from around the world. I've been watching you for 5 years and you inspired me to start my own channel and share knowledge, massive admirer of yours mate, thanks again
Thanks Kev, I hope you get a few more followers from the shout out. Its never a competition on here we are all here to enjoy ourselves and learn things. I will pick up tips and tricks from you Im sure.
As a former dealer, I can sympathise with you over that seller. Some people are just too scared or childish to face up to telling you that they have sold it from under you. Just remember for the future and as you have done warn others. The company my Mrs worked for got hit by one of those scams it took them 3 months to sort their payroll out after the first time and 6 months after the second attack.
With the high price of fuel these days an unnecessary 600 km trip is something a person doesn't need. And with no Sparex parts available it sounds like you're having a run of bad luck. I hope your luck improves even if the weather doesn't!
I have had same thing happen with a couple of 60 series cruisers, negotiated a price, I said I can do bank transfer today and I can pick them up Saturday, he said don't worry, just bring the cash Saturday, Friday comes and I call to confirm I'll be there Saturday morning and he tells me he sold the one I wanted but he still has the other one, I said keep it.
With that dodgy bloke who sold the tractor and didn't tell you, I've heard the same story with cars, I'm in Victoria and I know a woman she was about 20, same thing happened to her, she had to drive 250km to buy this car, they kept asking for a deposit first without seeing it, she actually gave them a few hundred deposit, drove 250km to buy the car only to end up at someone's farm who had no idea what she was talking about, turns out to be a scammer and they just randomly picked a farm off of Google Maps for her to drive too, it was all done by email too, so no phone numbers could be traced, Police investigated and said there was nothing they could do, I think in the end it turned out to be someone from over seas. With ransomware make sure you are using Windows 10 or windows 11 and update the Windows security updates in the settings regularly, Windows releases security patches all the time, same with your antivirus and please, don't use Windows 7 or Windows XP or any other older operating system because Windows is no longer supporting them.
I like the variety in your stews so Tractor work and all the other bits and pieces make for a good stew.
Thanks 👍

Sunny today for the first time in a week or so.
Best wishes to little Freya. Hope that she will be ok.
We hope so it is a long old haul for them at the moment.
Bugga about the tractor. There are some strange people out there. Can't wait to see the saw operational. Cheers mate
I had the saw running late Monday I will try for footage in the next stew.
There's some bloody Wombats around isn't there ! 👍

Sparex still not on line must be coming up 4 weeks.
@@BundyBearsShed that's no good at all !!!
Great Stew Lance = hope Freya is still improving. Shame you missed out on the Dexter, iconic little tractor for your collection.
Thanks Charles, Freya is improving slowly, hopefully she keeps it that way. Yes a Dexta will fit with what I can do nicely.
a bead of weld around the inside of the bearing and left to cool, usually fall out.
Yeah I do that at times but I wanted to use these bearings as they were fairly new.
Sounds like you had a lucky escape tbh. Maybe he worked out who you are and didn't want his PoS tractor being shown all over YT?
I didnt care if it was mechanically bad as that would make a good video I think he was just a dodgy bugger.

Yeah its a bit of a battle but it will come good again, around $180 for diesel on the trip.

Yeah gives you the shits eh.
Yep be down that road before Lance and will probably head down that road again seems to be the way the world works nowadays ☹️
Yeah it seems to be how it works now, not to worry we will find what we are looking for one day, no hurry.
Cool Story . , i know how you feel .
\330 k each way , my island has only 35 k to get around this little place ,
Yeah pain in the bum eh.

Sad old time we live in when this crap happens, one time a man was as good as his word.
Would like the videos separate as its easyer to find the machining videos by the title.Dont worry I will still watch the drivile as well.
Thanks for the feedback Mark. I reckon it seems to work better as well.
Shame about the Dexta, life sucks at times.
Yeah but no money changed hands so just one of lifes experiences.
that bloke 300k down the road needs to have a look at my BIG left hook
Yeah I was thinking similar.
