안녕하세요, 스페이스 K 미술관 도슨트 은결입니다. 스페이스 K 서울은 건축 핵심 요소가 ‘호’인 만큼 건물 곳곳에 아치와 곡선을 찾아볼 수 있는데요, 오늘은 미술관에는 숨어있는 아치를 찾아 함께 떠나보시죠!
‘호’로 이루어진 공원을 걷다 보면 자연스럽게 미술관 정문으로 들어올 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 스페이스 K 미술관은 1층, 2층 내부뿐만 아니라 옥상층까지 녹지로 된 광장을 관람객들에게 개방하고 있습니다.
이렇게 옥상으로 올라가면 계단형 광장을 만나볼 수 있는데요, 광장에서 내려다보았을 때 스페이스 K의 곡선은 더욱 더 두드러집니다.
스페이스 k 미술관은 2024 서펀타인 파빌리온 올해의 설계자로 선정된 매스스터디스 조민석 대표가 건축과 설계를 도맡았습니다. 스페이스 K 방문 시 전시와 더불어 건축에 숨은 디테일까지 놓치지 말고 즐기시길 바랍니다. 감사합니다.

Hello, I'm Eun Gyeol, a docent at Space K. At Space K Seoul, arcs are a key architectural element, so you can find arches and curves all over the building. Today, we're going to find some hidden arches in the museum!
The park is designed so that walking through the arc will naturally lead you to the main entrance of the museum. Space K opens its green belt to visitors not only inside the first and second floors, but also to the rooftop.
As you walk up to the rooftop, you'll find a terraced square, and the curves of Space K are even more pronounced when viewed from the square.
Space K was built and designed by Minsuk Cho of Mass Studies, who was selected as the 2024 Serpentine Pavilion Architect of the Year. We hope you enjoy the exhibition and the details behind the architecture when you visit Space K. Thank you.
