Agreed. It has that same transcendental quality as Dead Man's Shoes. It is a film or rare talismanic power. Such power, that I can only watch it rarely. Olivia Coleman, Peter Mullan and Paddy Considine. What a Dream Team.
Paddy and Olivia seem like the most "unstarry" people you could ever wish to meet. I know no-one's perfect but I get the feeling that they are truly wonderful people. I love them all. And Eddy Marsan! Tyrannosaur is in The Criterion Collection, right?!? It deserves to be put on a space probe and sent into the farthest reaches of the galaxy as one of cinema's most powerful achievements. No hyperbole (lol!), it really is THAT GOOD. And it really is a troubling film. Plus it shows shitbull owners as they really are

I know squat about film as an art form, or even technically. But this film is breath-taking, and Olivia is hypnotic in it. I cannot watch it without bawling my eyes out, she's stunning!

Love Paddy too. Genuinely underrated actor.
Fun fact: He’s from Burton on Trent (my hometown) and he went to school with my Mum and acted with him in school plays. Small world.
And he went to Burton and South Derbyshire College and met Shane there.
