You must be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, If my wife and I enter illegally into your home, and she gives birth on your sofa that does not mean our child is a member of your household, the same standard would apply if we were guests. Similarly, if a woman who has illegally entered or is a guest of our country gives birth here, that child is a citizen of the same country as the mother. I would argue that President Trump is precisely following the Constitution, and no amendment is needed.
