    Former contract chicken farmers Craig Watts and Rudy Howell say the business did not work out as promised. Both went deep into debt and struggled to keep their farms in business. And both filed whistleblower complaints against Perdue Farms.

    If you think about it, these chicken giants own 99% of the process. From the debt of the land to the butcher plants, even the chickens themselves. Why would they not own the actual farm itself? Because thats where the risk is and they can move to better debtor at will.
