It depends. Sometimes at a first meeting someone will remind a dog of someone or something bad so he will have a fear reaction, but the dog will quiet down when it realizes this person is okay.

Yes, they do. A year after my Mom died, I stopped at the cemetery to water her flowers. My dog (who adored Mom) was in the car and never had been there before. The windows were down on the car. I went to the faucet to get water in the bucket. Walking back, I saw that my dog had jumped out of the car, and was sitting on Mom’s grave looking up and wagging his tail.

according to my religion there is a hadith (hadiths are the sayings of our beloved prophet PBUH passed on through a series of trusted narrators) and the hadith says:
“If you hear the crowing of a rooster, ask God for His bounty, for he saw an angel. And if you hear the braying of a donkey or the barking of a dog (especially if at night), seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan; indeed they are able to see what you perceive not…hinting it saw a demon”
It is nice to witness your beliefs getting proven to be true to you every now and then, egoistic ignorants hate that.

You don't have to be in a cemetery. My daughter called me one evening, years ago, her husband was working late, and she was a bit uneasy. The big Maine Coon cat was on the back on the couch where she was sitting, but he was facing the kitchen, fur bristled growling. She said besides this dishes were "falling" off the counter.
I grabbed my anointing oil, went over and went through the apartment and prayed and told the spirits they had to leave.

As believers we are given the authority to demand they leave, by the blood of JC. We don't need to tolerate them & it seems more and more are being let loose among us. [The occult hobbiest is clueless] The principalities are defining themselves and preparing for the arrival of their lord. Gird up your loins.
We are given spiritual discernment to recognize demons because our eyes do not see into that realm. Imho & experience animals can see things we do not. I think it confuses them, that we cannot see what they do.

My girlfriend and her daughter went to the beach once, and fortunately they brought their dog with them. They were looking towards the water and Shadow, their black lab, was sitting between them, facing the parking lot that was behind the dunes. Shadow began growling, and her hair was standing up, as a man was approaching them, who was telling them to tie up the dog so he could talk to them. The closer he got, the louder Shadow growled, until she was snarling, and pulling towards the guy. My girlfriend was holding her by the collar and told the guy that he had 10 seconds to leave, or she would let the dog loose on him. The guy left, but the dog kept growling for ten minutes, and eventually laid down, but she never looked away from where she last saw that man. That dog probably saved their lives that day!

My dog Lilli was the friendliest, kindest and cuddliest dog on this planet. She never growled or barked against anyone, even people with big scare of dogs loved her and had had no problem being around her. Her only interest was begging for food and playing ball. Except on this particular day. I walked her somewhere on the fields a little outside of our city. I did that often because there she could run an play and we had our peace. On this day a man approached us, he was carrying a bag. Lilli saw him and got nuts. She freaked completely out. She didn’t reach out to him, she stood like a monument in front of me, and barked, growled and her fur also spiked up. When he got closer, she made attempts to attack him. I got her on her collar and body and holded her as close as I could and she still freaked out completely. I was so in shock, she had never shown a behavior like that before or ever after. I told the guy to vanish as fast as he coul, because I didn’t know how long I could hold her, she was a strong dog. He ran away like a flash. Lilli threw a tantrum as long as she saw him, and when he was out of sight, she immediately stopped, licked my face and went ahead digging for mice, as if nothing had happened. I was completely shocked, I had never seen her that way before. I think she’d been ready to eat him. I am convinced that he was up to no good and I am still thankful, that my beloved dog protected me from whatever. I had her for almost 17 years and it was the only time when she ever had such a reaction.

This is one of my older pieces but I really want to share it with other dog lovers like myself. It took a couple of years before I finally found the perfect dog for the part and it blew me away. I still get choked up every time I read this and I wrote it! I told you I'm a sap. Right? 😬
    GOOD BOY!
His master told him “stay” one day
    And headed out the door.
The old dog watched him walk away,
    Like many times before.
And like all of the other times,
    The faithful friend would wait
    And listen for the clock to chime;
    The squeaking of the gate---
When eagerly he’d run to greet
    His master and with joy,
He knew their playtime would be sweet,
When he would hear, “Good boy!”
    Until one foggy afternoon,
The clock had long since struck,
The old dog sat there in the room.
    But never heard the truck.
Nor did he hear the screech of brakes,
    The awful thud; the moans
One hears when death has come to take
    Another poor soul home.
    So faithfully, the dog remained,
    Where he was always told.
As daylight went and darkness came
    The night was growing cold.
Alone, in silence there he lay,
    To make his master proud.
Until the breaking of the day,
    He often sighed aloud.
    Then people started coming ‘round,
    Each bringing food to eat,
But nowhere was the master found,
    To bring his usual treat.
    A restlessness began to brew,
    Within the old dog’s chest,
As people came and went, he grew
    More downcast and depressed.
Yet faithfully the old dog lay,
    Beside his master’s bed
And wouldn’t eat, the neighbors say,
A thing that he was fed.
But then one morning when they came
To look in on him there,
They found him lying just the same
    But with a vacant stare.
    His loving master had returned,
To fetch his dear old friend.
Now he will never have to yearn
    To be with him again.

Two old ladies from among the Jewish ladies entered upon me and said' "The dead are punished in their graves," but I thought they were telling a lie and did not believe them in the beginning. When they went away and the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon me, I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Two old ladies.." and told him the whole story. He said, "They told the truth; the dead are really punished, to the extent that all the animals hear (the sound resulting from) their punishment." Since then I always saw him seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave in his prayers.

I read a story several months ago about a young cat(kitten) that somehow ended up inside a nursing home, the story told how but I don't remember now how. Not super important, but the kitty would go and lay in the bed of people that were getting ready to die and the nurses caught on to this& explained it to the doctors so they watched and monitored the cats actions over time and sure enough every time that cat was right about knowing when people were with in a day or so of dieing and there families were extremely happy to know ahead of time to get there to say goodbyes! That cat was kept and loved by the staff and elderly at the nursing home for the rest of its life. It roamed around in the nursing home freely and there is even a book about this. I just can't remember the name of it. Very SPECIAL AND LOVED CAT IT WAS!!!!

ITS about an AMAZING CAT that a nursing home "adopted " so to speak because of a special ability or maybe just the 6th sense animal supposedly have. BTW, my dog always hears thunderstorms coming way before they get here obviously because of there excellent hearing but they can smell the rain from far away to. When I was younger and had better smell I could smell rain before it got here so again, animal excellent sense of smell and other senses will be alerted before ours. The people replied: Messenger of Allah! These are some people who died in the pre-Islamic times. He said: Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the fire, and the trail of Antichrist. They asked: Why is it that, Messenger of Allah? He said: When a man is placed in his grave, an angel comes to him and says to him: Whom did you worship? Allah then guides him and he says: I worshiped Allah. He is then asked: What was your opinion of this man? He replies: He is Allah’s servant and His Apostle. He will not then be asked about anything else. He will then be taken to his abode in Hell and will be told: This was your abode in Hell, but Allah protected you and had mercy on you substituted for you an abode in Paradise for it. He will say: Leave me so that I may go and give glad tidings to my family. He will be told: Dwell. When an infidel is placed in his grave, an angel comes to him, reprimands him and asks him: Whom did you worship? He replies: I do not know. He will be told: You neither knew nor did you follow(the believers). He is then asked: What was your opinion on this man? He replies: I held the opinion that the other people held. He will then give him a blow between his ears with an iron hammer and will utter a shout which will be heard by all the creatures(near him) with the exception of men and jinn.

Everyone knew the place had a ghosts named Gordon but one night I was there with man little dog towbee. I was in the office on the computer. The chair across from me suddenly moved like someone had been sitting in it and got up out of the chair . I thought it was towbee that accidentally moved it . I looked for him right away under the table and he was near me shaking like an earthquake. I knew he wasn’t anywhere near the chair that moved . Poor guy. I had to be the strong human and let him know ghosts can’t hurt you and observe you. I e had plenty of experience with ghosts and the only time I ever felt the presence of a dark maleficent force was in Brazil . I was a missionary there and we (my companion ) came across a macumba house . We both felt the presence of evil but hadn’t told each other how we felt until later that night. Evil is real . It's a shame that you're not a Catholic and didn't know what to do with the ghosts you encountered who weren't evil. Those are human beings, somebody's mother or father or son or daughter or brother or sister, and they can't enter Heaven yet because they aren't perfect - as the Book of the Apocalypse, which you call Revelation, says, nothing can enter Heaven that isn't perfect. So those poor people are in Purgatory, busy paying back their debts from sin, hoping that somebody will help them pay their debts, with prayer and almsgiving, but people like you don't give a crap, because you're Protestant.
I can't say I've met many ghosts. I've only met one. But the one I did meet I adopted as a brother. He's a WWII veteran who's been stuck here on Earth for at least seventy-five years, not understanding why he's not in either Heaven or Hell. It took that long for somebody to come along and realize what his situation was, and who was going to care enough to make sure he got home to heaven. So sure as sh*t, I've paid his debts for him, and he gets to go home soon, within the month.

You're so right, and friend and were pier fishing at Lake Erie. The rats were playing with each other, the Bass were jumping as Dusk was approaching. After several minutes, I noticed the rats were gone from the pier, the knats and mosquitoes were gone, and the fish quit hitting. I told my buddy something isn't right, we had better hit the road. Instead of leaving immediately, we stopped at Mr. Hero and sandwich shop, then hit the road. A violent storm came off Lake Erie that chased us down 79, we couldn't stop for anything that's how close the storm was behind us. Finally, when we hit 279 coming in Pittsburgh, the storm subsided; after that I'm a firm believer in observing nature.

Dogs are creatures that see and hear everything, For example,
    Ghosts - Jinns - Spirits - Souls
When they see anything like this, (ghosts jinns spirits or souls) they bark. And what i mean
by they can hear anything is that they can hear the screams in the graves. So he’s just hearing that,
When the punishment comes for what you’ve done in the world, you are burned and tortured.

No matter what direction we approach that spot within 150 feet away the dogs would freeze and refuse to go any nearer. We even lit that spot up with our flood lights till it is as bright as day yet they refuse to approach till the sun rise.

I'm convinced mine did. One night I was awakened by this presence I felt. I was terrified--even more so when both of my dogs started that low throaty growl. My pit jumped up on my bed and faced the closet. The other dog was on the floor was staring at the same place. They knew something was there. And then it was gone. My pit stayed at my feet the entire night. I've only ever heard him growl like that a handful of times in the nearly 15 years I had him. If anyone has ever heard a dog do that, you instantly know something is not right.

Yes. So true. My dog Maks did that. I had never heard him do that before. He was very smart and protective. I had moved cross country with him. We were at my childhood home. My mother was on the other side of the house. It was spread out, a ranch style house. Nobody was supposed to be there then and none of the neighbors knew we were back or that i had a dog now.
He heard intruders at 2am. I wss reading and he growled like that, really low, slipped off the bed, ran low to the ground and raced out of my bedroom across the house, and onto the couch in the LR and looked out the window as they ran through the property. They had gotten onto the back deck and tried breaking in through the sliding glass doors right by my parents bedroom! My mother was very grateful my dog and I were there. I called the police and they caught them that night. My mom loved my dog much more after that night 😂

So my son and I always walk our dogs right before we go to bed every night. One night, we were running behind on everything due to some emergency stuff that had happened earlier that day. We ended up not getting to bed until about two am, so that's when we were taking the dogs out for the last time that night. It was very dark and quiet in our neighborhood. We live in the country, lots of forest around us. But the neighbors are still pretty close. There's a small dirt road that separates our house and our neighbors, and that's where we usually walk the dogs. So we get across our yard, right at the dirt road, and simultaneously we both say "what is that?" Right up at our neighbors house, right near their trashcan and mailbox, is a figure. It's shaped like a person without any details, just the outline. It's made of light. I can't even adequately describe what kind of light. I've been asked, did it seem like sunlight, or that yellow light like some light bulbs give off, or maybe more blueish or white. It's so hard to explain but if I have to say, it was more on the side of blue or white light, but not like any I've seen before. We were sort of frozen and for a couple seconds, I think both our brains were trying to rationalize what we were seeing. That is until both dogs started barking like crazy and pulling their leashes with hair standing up. They acted just like if they'd seen a stranger out in the dark at night when they know nobody is normally around. I had to hold so tight to my dog and he's only medium sized. He's a minpin, and very protective of me. My son's dog is a Chihuahua mixed with something. He's bigger than an average Chihuahua, but still small. We both had to hold so tight cause they were in attack mode as if it was an actual stranger. Bear in mind, they know everyone in the neighborhood and don't treat them like strangers. Plus, I'm fairly certain my neighbors don't glow with light. Anyway, when the dogs started, we knew it was real and we were not simply crazy. It just disappeared. Just like when a light is on and you flip the switch to turn it off. That quickly. So much so that my son, not thinking clearly, said "we better go. They turned the light off." I looked at him and said, "Matt, what light? There are no lights out here for anyone to turn off." Then he realized it had just disappeared like that. Needless to say, we got back in the house quickly. My husband said maybe it was moonlight, a reflection of something, or maybe even the neighbors who had to take some trash out in the middle of the night for some reason and happened to be wearing all white, lol. But no. I'm 45 yrs old and I've never seen light that quite looked like that. I've been out on many a moonlit night. That was not the moon. And it sure as hell wasn't a neighbor in all white at two am. that disappeared so quick it was like the flip of a switch. Never seen anything weird or paranormal before. Never have again. Still live in the same spot. Still walk the dogs every night. Thats the thing. I know how my dogs reacted but it didn't give us that kind of fear that you think you'd have seeing something weird. We got back to the house quickly but we didn't run. And we kept looking back. There just wasn't much fear. It's so weird. Anyway, idk if animals can see what we don't, but mine sure as hell reacted to whatever that was. I'll never forget it.

At the beginning of the video, the dog has the hair on its back standing up. That's an appropriate response to fear or feeling threatened. However, when he growls his hair is not standing up, which means he doesn't feel threatened but wants to keep whatever he's seeing at a distance from him and his owner.

This is the torment of the grave, which the Prophet Muhammad wrote about
Peace and blessings of God be upon him in the hadith (the two angels ask the man in the grave from your Lord, what is your religion, what is your book from your Prophet, and he screams, and everyone in the place hears the cry except for the human and the jinn). But if he is not sacrificed, like the Hindus, it is his soul, not his body, and his spirit is struck, not his body, and his spirit is struck, not his body, and this dog whimpered outside the screaming and was afraid of screaming, because a person’s soul is struck only if he was buried or not.
If he is not a Muslim or a bad Muslim, Allah instills fear in his heart and he cannot respond unless he is a good Muslim. Then the one who is not a Muslim or a bad Muslim who cannot answer the question will be hit with a hammer in the head with his soul and not his body because his body is only to honor the burial of the dead. And he cries out in spirit

I went to go look at a house listed for sale, the listing said “quiet neighbors” which I thought would be appealing until I arrived at the property and there was a cemetery across the narrow street. I took my dog Buddy with me a rescue terrier mix. The house was really exactly what I was looking for, about an acre of land, big back patio that faced a babbling creek. Buddy was sniffing around by the creek while I did some measurements. Out of nowhere I heard a friendly female voice say “hey sweetie!” My head whipped around looking in the direction I heard the voice, Buddy too was looking, neither of us could determine where the sound came from, and after only a few seconds, Buddy bolted for the car. Where I had left the drivers door open, he jumped in and planted himself in the passenger seat while I quickly scanned the area, still trying to determine where that voice came from, as I too headed for the car. Buddy was trembling. It wasn’t until days later that, while recanting the story to a friend that I learned more about the cemetery. The section closest to the house was actually the Children’s Garden, where children were buried. When I heard that voice, I expected to see a young teenaged girl… obviously we did not buy that house.

In my country El Salvador there was this village farmer who would beat his dogs with sticks because they barked at night "for nothing". My grandfather told him they don't bark for nothing, that they see things he can't. My grandpa told him to get grit from his dogs' eyes and put them in his own eyes and stay outside his porch all night long. He did. He almost went insane. He saw a floating casket with a candle on top of it passing in front of his house and then saw a headless cowboy riding his horse, the horse's eyes glowed red like charcoals in the darkness.
