I still to this day can't figure out to what extent that Hammond's three-wheeler crash at the end was real. Looks the part from the inside cameras, so he has likely at least rolled it a couple of times

Brilliant editing for sure. I guess the just let him tip over in a field somewhere and then seamlessly cut to the shot of an empty car they pushed off the hill. They brought that joke many times over the years.

I think if it weren't for the Peel P50 escapades, the modern replicas being manufactured today would never have come to be, so Clarkson is solely responsible for reviving the Peel P50 & Trident, though they do make electric options now, so, I dunno, something less ridiculous than a Gee Wizz for londoners I guess... :P
