- this was just an assignment for school and the teacher said we could upload it so here we are
I messed up the positioning on one word and I'm going to be peeved about it all day
& made by Tally Hall
can I just clarify that this was a SCHOOL project, I can't change anything now and the choices made for the video were to make it easier to do
you did great dude I hope you got a good grade on the project
Yeah this look great!
It looks amazing regardless, I really love how it came out
AT LAST, SOMEONE KNOWS & IS A SONG
When I try to look up a fan made music video, I see at least per 4 each 2 scrolls.
Yeah, some people still forgetting about the &'s
@@matoonist6640& and & and also even and
it’s literally my favorite one
I do now
I like the "they took a lesson from their fathers" part as a tie almost symbolizing tally hall's infamous ties.
Claiming friends has 5 guys, Tally Hall has 5 members (if you don’t count Bora)
wasn't really a reference to tally hall, i just searched up a black and white image for friends and that popped up
@@Khyretick Capitalist. Communist.
there are a couple issues and mess-ups now and then but I'm happy with the result :)
EDIT: yes I now know it's "S*n" and not son, it's been itching at me that I got it wrong but i can't do anything about it, sorry if any of you disliked it :(
what grade did you get?
I got an A :)
@@Khyretick nice

the audio is so low quality it actually makes this good
This is made amazingly! Tho my only gripe is that I wish when it goes between comparing the two sides of "And" (like Love and not) it would switch between showing the image from the left and right, aside from that this is perfect
if I made the necessary programs and the time and motivation, I would totally remaster this
This deserves way more views, this is amazing!
this song (in my opion) is just about how dived we are as a society And we're constantly pointing fingers saying their bad And we're good And vise-versa
it about you take And gather your views from your father And other such important figures
it might be good And it might be bad And it could help if everyone stopped pointing fingers And got to the bottom of our problems
This is really creative, smooth & nicely made
Is this song called "and" or "ampersand" (the name of &, just like ~ is called a tilda)
I think it's just "And"
The aspect ratio is a good detail ngl
I’ve never been this hype for a black rectangle swapping sides
Hmm kinda like chonny jash style
DUDE I LOVE CHONNY JASH'S STUFF
I comment on his vids till' he does THIS SAME SONG
Doesnt Chonny do covers?
This needs more views
The mad bomber-yo was the mad bomber?
underrated
Awesome video!

I've always thought that this song, at least the end of it, is about the Cold War/nuclear apocalypse.
'Big Bad Betty of the Apocalypse' refers to the bombs themselves
'She opens her lips and it goes like this' I think this refers to the blasts
'When The Golden Rule & the jungle meet' the golden rule is to 'do unto others as you would want others to do unto you' which is a metaphor for mutually assured destruction. The jungle could be a lot of things, but I believe it's supposed to be Vietnam for no particular reason.
'There'll be nothing to love & There'll be no one to beat' when the world is destroyed, there'll be nothing left to love, and the other side isn't there for you to beat them, to be superior over them, because you've killed them.
'Oh the things we know The things we don't Oh the things we think we can will & won't' I'm not sure the meaning of these lines
'We're loath to gather and nothing's left' loath, not to be confused with loathe, means reluctant or unwilling. When the world ends, no one will want to pick up the pieces because they believe that nothing's left.
'We're all together & we're all bereft' bereft means to be deprived of or lacking something. Everyone lacks the structure and society that existed before the apocalypse.
'Capitalists & Communists You did the hokey pokey and it went like this' Capitalists and Communists nuked each other, and the world then ended.
'You hate each other & you love yourselves' referring to the hatred of communists by capitalists and the hatred of capitalists by communists, perpetuated by their home countries' propaganda.
'It might be Heaven & it might be Hell' referring to the fact that neither side truly knows what the other side is like. It is presumed to be like hell due to the propaganda that everyone consumes, but it might be heaven.
'Oh the things we do The things we say Oh the things we wish we could wash away' I do not know what this line refers to.
That's a prespective I never really thought of and I like it. I am not politically smart in any way shape or form so seeing this theory makes me pretty intersted in it!
I want to say "Oh the things we do; the things we say; Oh the things we wish we could wash away" could talk about how people and governments and how they wish they can wash away all the bad they do and all things they say.
@@facadeangel4076 That's a fantastic take! I agree with you almost fully I mostly think of it like after the bombs fell everyone realized that it was a terrible idea but, now they cannot do anything about it as they say "Oh the things we WISH we could wash away"
To me, the "jungle" refers to the "law" of "the strong hunt the weak", so it's "do unto others what you want others to do unto you" vs "if you are strong enough, you can do anything you want"
I really like this take! The one verse I'm not sure on is reference to "when the golden rule and the jungle meet". I think it might be a reference to the book The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. The book shows reference to exploitation of workers and gross safety conditions in factories. This is a stark contrast to the golden rule (treat each others as you'd treat yourself blah blah). But maybe that's just my mind making weird connections. Again, it's a great take, and it made me really think about the lyrics.
Knowing what kind of things Tally Hall makes their songs about ( mostly from Ruler ), my theory: This song is about human opinions, conflicts and probably about points of view. My understanding of "father" is something that tries to shape your opinions, mainly early in life, no matter the intentions, and at the end it turns into spiting people of their attachment to their own opinions. At the start it shows a "character" that tries to unite people, but can't because of their nature
( I'm not very good at english, nor did I analyze the song long )
cool
This sounds right
1:15 my mom is a huge Beatles fan and when she heard this she instantly fell in love with the song
I like how when it says “wrong” it shows the X-box logo. I’m sure it’s unintentional, but it’s still funny
why does this remind me of bill wurtz’s old style
FR
Missed opportunity to use both Son and Sun at the start, since that was purposely left unclear in the lyrics so as to cause... a dichotomy. :)
I stated in another comment that I didn't catch onto that and if I could change it i would :(
This video is very well done, deserves more support
This song feels like saying goodbye to something
the world

2:56 Why is capitialism on the left hand and communism on the right? 🤔
i had no thought process behind it

Did you have to say it three times..
ミラクルミュージカル copied tallyhall, i dont like dat
what?
i meant 134340 Pluto by cojum dip
@@RedDataStorage-oc9lb well, cojum dip is fronted/made by Bora Karaca, who is a member of Tally Hall, so unless you're talking about the styles being similar than no, they didn't copy Tally Hall
they often collaborate as well in some previous tally hall songs
damn rly?
I can't believe it, a song I've been looking for months, I discovered because I thought the thumbnail looked like the "you are an idiot" virus
wow i expected there to be some dumbass oc and i would instantly click off, but i was presently surprised that it was a nice lyric video.
glad it subverted your expectations :)
