Classic Shaving said on the website and I quote "This razor has been in development since mid 2023 " also "The Occam's Team has taken design ideas and best qualities from the Occam's Razor SE line (primarily the ENOCH razor) as well as the Classic Shaving SE lineup. If you liked the shave of the Classic Cobra, The O.R.E.N. or the original Occam's Razor we know you will love this razor. " So this is what the comparison is pointing to if these heads once examined look identical and shave the same then we will ivestagte further I will contact Classic Shaving but I can't guarantee they will respond since they have never done so in the past. #Classicshaving

@@rayban-usa5482I purchased this SE-notch razor and it does indeed use an artist club AC blade. - Same polished head as the aluminum Excalibur YAQI razor IMO, because it own both versions of the YAQI Excalibur - only difference is the bottom plate has a different branding sketched on it.
Another informative Saturday review. It's always refreshing to see new safety razors that don't cost $100+. As an aside, I always use both the alum and witch hazel in my post-shave routine. They have excellent astringent and antiseptic properties. I also include a balm to moisturize and soothe my skin.

Nice shave Don. I still cannot get myself buying a razor which does not use a more easily (and at a low cost) available De blade. I did try the Parker injector schick was pretty good but I let it go.

Donald I would agree the handle is “grippy”. Definitely want the Nano if they ever do it again🤦🏻♂️ but I have to say the SE-Noch is a great shaver. I’ve used mine twice, first for face shave, and second time for both Face and Head. For $60 it’s definitely worth it. I didn’t have a Nick or cut on any shave. It’s intuitive and to me, forgiving. I quite like it. However, I hope they make their original razors, Nano etc. thanks for sharing🙏🏼💪🏼

The Enoch SE razor with a Zamac head seems a little pricey, especially since it looks like it might be an OEM razor of the Yaqi Excalibur, will interested to see what you find when you compare the Yaqi and Enoch heads directly. BTW I love the Excalibur. Great looking shave Donald👍🤠🤟

This seems too me like a Yaqi Excalibur head with an other handle. I have one and really like the shaves. It's just a different post shave feeling to a DE shave. But you can order this head for 10$, with a handle for 20$, from China. And the other razor on their website seems to me like a Merkur Futur clone, also out of China, that is beeing sold under thousand names. Also not a bad shaver. But you can get both for less money then by Occams. Don't want to knock their business. Just as information for the wet shavers out there.

I believe it is the Excalibur head has well. Rebranded. It’s still a good shaver, but looks like they plan to do rebrands. I hope they continue to make what made them special.
@e_BABA I'm going to do a follow up video of this and see. I already order the one they are saying it is. If this is true in ANY way they Classic Shaving has some explaining to do. They said they worked on this in all of 2023 which according to some people here is bullshit. We will find out.

I think i'd like that grip to be honest, prefer a "grippy" grip over the Nano's default. But that's a personal choice. As whether or not it's a copy, in the end I think in the end one should not look at appearance alone and need to see how the razor itself shaves and how its characteristics differ. For example, if I was to compare my Yaqi Excalibur to the Vector (which I think it copied), the Excalibur for me, is a little more blade forward and thus just have that tiniest more blade-feel in comparison. Whether that is a good thing or not of course depends on the individual using it. Do you have a Vector to compare this one to it Don? If so, how would you describe it in comparison? The bottom line though is that competition is good. More affordable good shaving gear is always a good thing.

Yaqi Excaliber uses an AC blade. This razor uses an injector blade. Yaqi has no SE razor using an injector. Therefore not the same.

That razor looks like the Vector. I enjoy my Razorock SS Hawk v3 with is the same AC concept. The price is a good value.
