Hello mine which i ordered looks same does not have the display. I think mine doesn't need electrical connection. Does your need electrical connection or the water generated electricity that shows temperature?

I'm thinking the LED is powered by some sort of dynamo that the pressurized water spins to power. And maybe the water supply to the dynamo is failing so it doesnt come on since dynamo stops spinning????????
