Welcome to another shopping vlog. This week we venture down to Soho to check out Louis Vuitton & Fendi. So many beautiful pieces. Then let's head over to the Big D, Dallas to Highland Park, an upscale, luxury outdoor shopping center. It was 98 degrees, but that didn't stop me from going shopping and getting all the eye candy for you!

Loved seeing you try on the Fendi Origami as well as all the Fuchsia bags. I’m so into that color right now as well (Hi, Barbie! 😉🩷) Sad you didn’t make it into Goyard but you may have faced attitude like you did at Hermes (why, just why? Don’t get that). You should just go to Bergdorfs to see Goyard, and ask for Miriam! I also loath ironing, so will be looking into your travel steamer!! Thanks for the recommendation!❤❤
I will check out Miriam at BG. I have to say I’ve probably the worst attitude from a Goyard SA at BG. It was several years (maybe pre pandemic). I had just learned about Goyard and wanted to see what the hype was. Turned me off from the brand immediately. Haven’t looked at it since. Will need to give them another chance! As for Dallas, my company is based there so now that we are doing more in person meetings, I’d guess I’d be down there twice a year. Would love to meet you there!

TYVM for the Origami mod shots. On paper it looks perfect, but in reality I could see you struggling with the straps staying on your shoulders. A huge deal killer for me. You saved me a trip to my Houston store.

Love this! The Highland Park shopping center is divine. I go there whenever I’m in Dallas. Interestingly, the Dallas Chanel CA are very gracious and personable. The Fendi coats are gorgeous, I am eyeing the reversible jacket. I bought a cashmere wrap in Las Vegas, it is so cozy and beautiful. Can’t wait to see what you get!
Julie I’ve been intrigued for a couple years by the cashmere wrap. I just don’t know if I’d wear it. Afraid it would be one of those “fantasy self” items that just sits on a hanger and never comes out to play 😂
@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle Surprisingly I've used my other ones. Since this one is more on the camel color side, I hope to use it when I travel this fall and winter as it is a bit heavier (and won't show dirt) than the ones I use in the spring. They gave me a dust bag to put it in so it won't get snagged on anything in my carryon for which I am grateful

I'm a Dallas native. I saw this Vlog title and went "She's here!". Gucci and many other wonderful stores are at Northpark Mall but Highland Park Village is Dallas historical luxury. Hermes can be tepid in warmth but its probably because your SA wasn't there though It feels like they have limited inventory. When I shop at HPV its for something specific that I know available and on hold for me. If you ever come back and want a shopping buddy let me know. You stayed at a cute Loft , where was it located? Thanks for sharing your trip!

I always love a travel vlog! I have the identical Amazon makeup travel bag but in black and it's great isn't it! I'm heading to St. Louis in a few weeks for a wedding so I'm pulling out all of the luggage and stuff. That first Fendi coat is just beautiful.
Best travel makeup bag for sure! It’s been to Europe and lots of domestic trips. Carries everything. I feel like I should get a new one. Mines getting pretty grungy. And the coat was TDF!

I was so excited for the Fendi Origami back in February, and now seeing what they actually release is such a downer. I was ROOTING for that bag!!!
I definitely think the medium is worth looking at. And I think the woven could be amazing. Definitely skip the mini. Waste of money IMHO. But between the C’mon and the Origami, the C’mon wins hands down.
Thanks for the fun video, Lisa! You look very chic in your travel outfit. Fendi and Dior are my favorite places to shop. Chanel and Hermes are my least favorite--I always feel a little icky after leaving Hermes. I was very skeptical about those Rag and Bone "faux jeans" but they look great! I also prefer steaming and no longer even own an iron. 🤭
Totally agree about Dior and fendi. I think they have the best customer service. Hermes it depends on the boutique. Definitely check out the “faux” jeans. They are the most comfortable thing EVER!! I also bought the jogger version from bloomies when they had a 25% off sale. I like them, but the wide leg ones are the best💜

My best winter coat is from LL Bean, a Baxter State Parka. It’s so warm, the hood really fits well around your face, and water runs off it.

I did. Quick trip. I always enjoy Dallas (although I prefer it in the late fall). I know you’ve had absolutely unbearable heat this summer. Sounds like you’re finally starting to get a little relief 💜
@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle I can’t tell you how has good it has felt to wake up to 70 something degree weather to walk the dogs rather than 113. It’s crazy also that 90 degrees to me feels luxurious 😂

Ooh love the fuchsia mini baguette! I like the idea of their new bucket bag with magnets to change its shape. The grey coat and grey bag looked great on you! The blue with the slit up the side is a nice autumnal one worn open over a sweater but the grey 😍. I reckon there’s room for a couple of winter coats if you live in NY!
They were all beautiful. Now I just need to win the lottery 😂🤣

Fun travel vlog! Your eyes lit up with the ostrich Fendi peekaboo 🤩 for the life of me I cannot figure out why Goyard behaves the way they do. I’m a bit like “honey you canvas, take it down several notches” 😂 I also HATE ironing and refuse so I’m jumping on that steamer
Iron haters unite!!😂🤣. I use it at home, too. Can’t believe how quickly it heats up!
The best proportions definitely seem to be on the medium origami. When it’s cool enough to wear our Teddy jackets, Blake and I are going to the Porsche track in Atlanta and I plan to stop by Fendi after!

I love the Highland Park shops! We had a similar experience at Hermes there! My husband bought a couple of Ties in boutique but I ordered the other items online instead of buying them there. It was as if they were doing us a favor and the SA didn’t think our very casual appearance was really shopping in Hermes! It was bizarre! We left and both agreed they thought we couldn’t afford it!!
I had a very nice SA I used to shop with prior to pandemic (actually got an offer for a Barenia Birkin that I declined the very first time I met her). But then they wouldn’t ship anything during the pandemic and when I started traveling to denver monthly, it just made sense to stay with the Dallas boutique. Probably one of my least favorite boutiques in the country.
I have had good luck at the palm beach and DC boutiques! I walked to the palm beach store from my hotel and was a hot mess with a lululemon Fanny pack and I was treated well and I bought 2 pairs of shoes!
